The primary purpose of Indian news channels on world events is to make drama from it. It is an entirely different cultural conceptualization of what journalism is. People consume the news for that same purpose as well: not to understand anything but primarily to catch up on the neighborhood hood gossip. To them, world events are neighborhood gossip. This is why slow paced, calm academic journals aren't popular but Arnab Goswami is off the charts.

Every political and religious party must mention the number of full time and part time social media employees in their social media cell. The info shared by the media cell must be verified and authentic only (no rumors). The religious based info must be shared via only registered number by religious media cell. No one else may produce it otherwise. Each political /religious info shared should be mentioned by creator name, designation. This will counter the missinfo alot

I believe journalism is the root cause of problems because no one follows the root( Being unbiased). Everyone has opinions not ground news. Example West and East media houses. West has hegemony on human rights, while countries that follow their footsteps don't(A clear example is a china). Even Dw made claims on people's assumptions rather than doing the survey themselves.
