Every gas tank in their collection needs to be modified with a drain petcock so after they are run for a while they can be drained dry to prevent tank varnishing and keep the warehouse safer 👍 I hope they unhook the batteries when parked as well.
Very impressed that you pronounced the Chrysler assembly plant location for the LO23 Dart correctly - "Ham-TRAM-ik" (Hamtramck). Oh, by the way: The Hemi Dart itself - I'll take five of them.
I just might have to agree with you, and this is coming from a GM guy that was Born & Raised with Buick Chevrolet & Pontiac! MOPAR really did RULE the Race Tracks back then, and Yes, even today!
Kevin you have the greatest job on earth. I would jump out of bed every morning with excitement to get to be around all this amazing muscle. I love this channel it reminds me why I fell in love with all things automotive as a teenager.
We're not sure if the Dickie Harrell Camaro is a factory built/backed car... GM was not officially in racing at that time. Of course, that didn't stop GM and other Chevrolet performance specialists from developing and producing some top equipment for certain classes of racing, like there was no tomorrow... Selectively, they provided certain chosen individuals and teams with some help, and access to products such as the mentioned ZL-1 Camaro. It was back door, and only for those who knew existence how to get one.
Which was ALL SPEEDSHOPS IN AMERICA!! Smh. That's why I hate Chevy...they were all about...we don't race and they had the biggest backdoor industry to perpetuate a lie ever seen until the environmental lie. They sucked on the stockcar circuit in the '60s though....couldn't make there "great" engines last 500 miles.
Dear fellow subscribers, I warmly advice you to watch episode 200 featuring Pikes Peak 1969 record holder Ford Torino and the driver who achieved that Mr Bobby Hunser himself...Europeans as myself do not grasp entirely the dragstrip culture , but Pikes Peak is another story...let's support and advertise Kevin, he deserves lots of subscribers!
Once again, another AWESOME video! Thank You Kevin! I just LOVE the way you put these together & Tell the stories!!! I especially LOVE that all your videos are about STOCK ORIGINAL manufactured cars!!!!!! I hope one day you have your own TALK SHOW on NATIONAL TV. Tommy Staten Island, New York.... 🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸
One racecar and 4 draggers... next week do some 4 racecars and maybe just one dragger. The only reason to look forward to Fridays. Thanks Kevin (and crew... and Brothers :) )
Isn't it kind of sad that Ford's 2010 supercharged factory drag car isn't any quicker than a factory build natural aspirated drag car from 1968? So much for technology.
He's wrong on those times...try low 8s. So your thoughts without looking it up have you and 7 others agreeing with somebody elses TRUTH. Seems to happen a lot with young people today.
Fastest one in NHRA factory stock are the cobra Jets running 7.5 Cmon you have all the information in the world at your fingertips and you choose to be ignorant??
