Ash left to train his Charizard in Charcific valley in season 9 and Charizard returned in season 16. 4:00 In the last episode of sun and moon Prof. Burnett was shown to be pregnant and in yesterday's episode of Pokémon Journeys, prof. Burnett son was shown so I don't think floating time line works on side characters
