Well in this video, I am going tell you some fun facts about Wrightsville beach and why you should check it out.
Wrightsville beach is one of the closest beach to Raleigh, Charlotte, Asheville, easy access to major highway. It has one some the clearest water in North Carolina.
It is a 4.5 mile long barrier island located in New Hanover County.
Perfect location for a getaway vacation, family friendly, surfing, fishing and boating.
The Weather in Wrightsville beach is awesome!
The winters are short, cold, and windy. Where Summers is long, can be hot and humid, especially during July and August, but the rest of the time it is just gorgeous!
The water temperatures in the summer, from June through early October are practically bath-tub tropical making this beach perfect for swimming & surfing!
Wrightsville beach has a great school district, a great place to raise your family!
The Jetty at the South End of Wrightsville Beach is a place that not a lot of
people are actually familiar with or go to. Located at the farthest southeast portion of the Island that you could possibly go. There is a small car park (pay meters) nearby the coast guard station and a nice nature walk that goes straight to the beach. From here you can see Masonboro Island across the inlet.
Easy access to Public Boat Ramp - Free to use, 5 lane ramp with 68 parking spaces for vehicles with trailers. Some reserved for disabled. Only about a 3 mile cruise to Masonboro Island.
The Famous Johnnie Mercers Fishing Pier - Lots of great catches from the
longest pier in the area. You have to pay to fish here, it is $8 per rod and $2
if you just want to stroll.
Although Wrightsville Beach Real Estate is quite high, surprisingly, the cost of living in Wrightsville beach isn’t anymore than the surrounding area. If you are looking for more affordable housing options then check out the north end of Wrightsville beach. There are many condos and apartments available.
