Interesting about Colonel Tibbets death wishes, as I was in the USAF, 509th Bomb Wing, 1969-1974, as an Officer, and when there was a reunion of some veterans of this unit, in October 2012, in Albuquerque, NM, his grandson visited our gathering, as he was also then a Colonel in the USAF, stationed at nearby Kirtland Air Force Base. He spoke to us, along with video, about his grandfather, and knew him earlier in his career when he was a Captain. I believe later I heard he became a Brigadier General. 😊

I learned that the Framingham study report which was released to the public back around 2000, showed that elevated cholesterol doesn't cause heart disease, and that eating foods high in cholesterol and saturated fats doesn't raise your likelihood of having a heart attack. In fact, people with high cholesterol levels in their blood live longer than people with moderate or low cholesterol levels. But just try to find that study anywhere today; it's now hidden behind paywalls, so that the public can't see it. Instead, the only thing available, is and 'expert's interpretation' of the study, which oddly states the opposite of what the original conclusions were by the original scientists. Has to make you wonder why they are lying to us.

one of my History teachers, Mr. Lien, I think, taught us about how Teddy Bears were a thing because once upon a time notoriously badass President Roosevelt refused to shoot a bear made defenseless to make weakness city boys feel like powerful hunters, because being a real man, that wasn't going to do for him at all... because Teddy would like to go bare knucks fisticuffs with a grizzly.. and but him a round or two after, even! Huzzah!❤

Here's a fun fact about McDonald's in the US: in their burgers McDonald's uses a cancerogene chemical also used in manufacture of yoga mats. Enjoy!

I learned about mites that live in your eyelashes through a book on electron microscope images. Also multi barrel guns, spy and torture devices found in books at my school library. The Teddy one I know I was taught that in school. Just because something is a fact doesn't mean there will be a test on it. Many names, places, dates from American history class you remember for the test and forget about the next day.

I may be wrong but it seems to me that the presence of all colors is black and the absence of all colors is white. If you take a bunch of different colors of paint and pour them together you get black or close to it not once have i ever ended up with white

"axe and it shall be given to you" sounds like something a Viking would say during a raid

My favorite comment, it's not "Hear yee, hear yee." Those early printers like Guttenberg used a Y to represent the TH sound. It';s not, yee old shop, it's the old shop, same as we say today. Of course, how could Christmas be the same, if everybody sang, "Oh come, all the faithful......." Or if it was, "Yee cat in yee hat."
