Today I hit a fadeaway with Dirk Nowitzki in every NBA 2K game! From NBA 2K to NBA 2K22! 👑Last Video | • Scoring With The MVP I... 🐤 Twitter | / smequle Simulated using NBA 2K22 Subscribe for PS5 NBA 2K22
2k ratings are beyond disrespectful, lmao. I'm not saying the man was in his prime, but he averaged 26/8/2 on 48/36/89 in 2009 (should affect 2k10) and in 2010 he averaged 25/8/3/1/1 on 48/42/91, and in both seasons he played 81 games and led his team to 50 win seasons, 50-32 (2009) and 55-27 (2010)... I don't understand how he was an 83 and 85... not to mention he would lead the Mavericks to one of the greatest championships in 2011... I don't understand 2k... the man was great even in the early 2010s.
2k's overall rating back in those days were weighted differently. If you were a PF or C (basically a big man) stats like low post defense, rebounds, blocks, close shots, and so forth increases your overall rating more compared to Dirk who had extremely high shooting stats. If you go back and edit Dirk's overalls with max shooting/scoring attributes without changing anything else, I think the highest Dirk would have been in game was an 85 or maybe 86 overall if I remember correctly. It's why players like Zach Randolph had higher overalls than Dirk even though Dirk played better in the game when you used him. Same with players like Westbrook who had higher rebounding stats as a PG, but that doesn't really increase his overall by much compared to increasing his ball handling or passing rating. It wasn't until 2k15 that archetypes or play styles were implemented hence why Dirk jumped up to an 88 as a faceup or inside-out scoring big man.
@@501jaylee I'd say so, since if you ask a random person what they know about Michael Jordan they'll probably just tell you he dunks a lot, but if you ask a person about Dirk the more than likely know about his fade away.
Man Dirk used to be so OP in 2k but nowadays if you have a slower jump shot and the defender is within 5 feet from you apparently your hof talent goes out the window
Thank you so much for the gift but I am ok you can give it to someone else what would mean the world to me is a shout out I would do anything. Thank you so much I love your content
I like 2K8 and 2K9 animations, for example the Point Guard using his hand for the playbook calls and running a bit slower and the players reaction after hitting a shot
Wish you could have gone to details with his fade in the later versions like for example in 2K14, the movesets are diverse with many animations such as fakes, jabs, hops, shimmy, etc...
@@user-kv5yh4er5p I would say that a lot of people who are interested in Basketball in Germany, have at least some symphaty for the Mavericks. Dirk was the key, why Basketball got so popular the last decade in Germany.
Idk why but I kinda like the old 2ks around 12 when not every star had to be a 90+ and people in low 80s were still really good. nowadays you use a low 80 they can iso or make a single whot
This RU-vidr is a legend! Keep doing what ur doin man. You should have 5x as many subs as u have. Ur videos are amazing. It would make my day if he hearted this comment
In a time with Kobe, Shaq, Carter, Mcgrady etc. AI was the 2k cover player for like 4 straight years. If this doesn't tell you how great he was nothing else can.
I have been Mavs fan since the day I saw him raining 3's! Dirk, Steve Nash and Micheal Finley!? Killed on 2K. And respectfully it was Larry Bird's Fadeaway before Dirk.
3 point shot with bryant in every nba 2k or lay up with lebron james in every 2k game or maybe blocking with shaq in every 2k i think smequle wont see this but its ok
