Let them know I sent you? Get Fae Farm here game.page/faefarm/Ircha%20Gaming and Nintendo eShop credits at irchagaming.com 😍 AND I'm discussing MORE Fae Farm on the podcast HERE ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HXgrclJaKFY.htmlsi=L6ejuDTxokYl1R6c What do you think of it so far?
I’ve played about 8 hours so far and starting to feel disappointed. The lack of story, lack of cutscenes, & lack of depth with the characters is really making the game fall flat. I went an entire in-game week mid spring without getting a single side quest. I’ve been looking forward to this game since it was first announced. This type of game is usually right up my alley, and I love all the other farming sims you mentioned at the beginning of the vid. I’ve seen overwhelmingly positive reviews all over RU-vid and starting to feel misled.
Your review is magnificent. You and IGN did good reviews. Im getting my copy today and already got customization planed. you even made a great character.
Thank you for this review! I was quite on the fence about this game (mainly because of the pricing and characters design) but I saw Gab playing it and it almost convinced me to get it. Now that I know it’s Ircha approved I’m 100% getting it !
Though I'm not sure this game is for me personally, I'm adding my comment for support and to help with the algorithm. :) I would like to request more vlogs, though!! Not even necessarily vacations or anything, just life in Norway. It's honestly escapism for me, and I wish my other favorite RU-vidrs did them more (looking at you HCG) 😂 I find vlogs by video-game-RU-vidrs so fascinating, because we all share the same hobby but live in almost completely different parts of the world.
It caught my attention the other day and while cute-ish, it appeared to me that it was rather simplistic in its mechanisms which is not a bad thing but for the pricing, I was hoping for something more complex. I loved your review and while I do agree that it seems like a game I would buy, think I'll wait for a sale for it so the price is more in line to what's being offered. I'm coming from Dave the diver and while is not a farming game in the sense of farming crops and stuff, it amazaed me how much content and complexity that game had for a really low price which impacted quite greatly on my experience. Was hoping the same-ish for Fae Farm as it was a praised but now I'll think a sale is more favourable. Gotta save the money for Mario RPG in a few weeks. So thanks Ircha for your top notch video, I always love when you review something as you are always fair and objective
I love it! I found a way to work around the name change. Im not big on relationships and festivals so the fact that its pretty basic in this game is actually a plus.
could you share this workaround by any chance? it's really bothering me since I like to make an oc for games and really don't want my actual or account name used lol
Thank you for your great review of this game. I trust your opinion. I preordered the physical game but I wasn’t sure I wanted to buy this game. After watching your review, I am going to buy it.
Looking forward to your review! Currently review playing on PC and having quite mixed feelings. Nice and colorful but boring conversations. Also the NPC´s keep mentioning stuff I did ages ago and I hate the laugh your character makes when they succeed or find something (It´s ok the first 20 times...). And the farming is odd, you need to craft containers with soil and then place them to grow stuff. You have to unlock things to craft (all stuff to craft it visible in a catalogue) by doing stuff (talking to NPC´s, wandering around, doing quests). Else it´s charming and cozy to play. Love the auto pick tools and the swift traversing (especially the pink jump pillows)
I think I'm one of the few people to really like this art style. I'm not going to pick this up right away, because I've preordered Sandrock and need to wait to buy anything else (farming sims are bad for the wallet...😅) but I think it looks really good! I hope they fix the name thing though - that will be really annoying for multiple save files etc.
I haven't played multiplayer, because I have no friends lol. Still debating on getting it on Switch. $103 seems steep for a game that looks identical to Portal Knights. I'm sure it's a great game, just nervous. This is not the kind of game I like playing at my PC. All the Stardew / Story of Seasons kinda games, I prefer playing on my Switch when I'm in bed at night, bored.
Your review is the best review. Much appreciated. Your cons are respectable too and I agree with some and disagree with another which is fine. I'll be picking this up, definitely.
I don't know how well acquainted you are with Danish developer Playdead (who made Limbo and Inside) but they are soon coming out with Cocoon, and a personal recommendation from me: Chants of Sennaar, which is an isometrical puzzle game about translating an ancient language, with a limited but very beautiful artstyle.
Great video i was looking forward to! This game seems to have everything going for it! Graphic are very charming too! Lately i'm not into farming game but if i get the itch, i'll pick it up. Gonna check the performance on the switch.
Thanks for the review, but bit disappointed you reviewed the PC version. I want to buy this on Switch and was waiting on your review as I always can depend on Ircha for a good Switch review. I want to see how this plays/looks on the Switch so will have to go elsewhere for this one.
Waait I love the fishing style ! It's like in Potion Permit and Spiritfarer personally I prefer that way of fishing than smashing my button at correct times to try fucking get the fish that I wont get cause it is just hard xDD I never feel relaxed Thank you for your detailed review ! I was in love, now iI can ask to the game to get out with me 🤣Will wait for some discount tho 🙈 Love the passion you put in your videos/games. Da energy gimmi some 🥰 Love 🌹
It looks a lot like Rune Factory and all the games u mentioned and the funny thing is steam says "It doesn't look like anything I have played" lol! First time I have seen Steam mess that up!
Just got into cozy games and couch oop games recently as I have had more time for my switch. Wow! Incredible review. I do hope I can fling all the way across the globe there to Norway for some gaming sessions eh? Love your channel and the mood your reviews are in. Stay classy and sexy! - K
Lovely video and very helpful, how do you create drinks?, as I lost all my energy and it said to make a drink but I couldn’t work out how to do it…would appreciate your help
Ircha, Have you realized that you have the Tone of voice, and Pace of Bane, from Harley Quinn recent Series. Since I realized i cannot either watch the series without hearing you or hearing Bane on your videos. 😄
She primarily does content with Switch games. Everyone who has done early reviews could only play on PC because only PC codes would be distributed. She’s targeting the video at her Switch audience.
@@mzmel1 i understand but its misleading seeing a switch game and getting a review for pc. If you miss the part saying its pc you would think youre seeing switch gameplay.
@@Ninjaplease636 I don’t think it’s that deep. She says up front where she’s playing and she says the switch version isn’t out yet. Minus the controls the portion of the game she shows is exactly the same on the Switch.
I played switch version and it is super great. No issue there as some reported. I guess they patched it all. I prefer it more to lay in my bed and play it handheld. Its cozy game for reason.
PSA,The Game's Pricing: long story short, you will still spend $60 on the game for the future updates/DLC. I believe they put it on switch first because switch always gets updates late.
I’m hoping the $60 tag means A LOT of dlc content. This game as so much potential it could take over with updates and content. I never liked Stardew and this fixes those problems for me. I really want to buy it now and don’t want to wait for it to maybe go on sale but $60 is a lot. Like I said I’m praying that means the dlc content will be hefty. I don’t mind investing in a game if its going to have a lot to do. They could do really cool seasonal things but idk if the creators will do it. I’m worried this game will turn into a dead end and that’d make me sad because it looks so promising.
@@macymiller3417 Majority of switch games are dead end $60 games 😂 Also there are a few seasonal stuff in the game and the DLC is for a future update. Its a new game that looks like it could have more than 1 update. So either take a chance on or don't , but you will be waiting a while for a sale.
I have a question. I am looking for a game that looks beautiful but i dont remember the name or on which console. But i think it was on PS 3 or 4. Its about 2 Person, a boy and a girl and somehow, the girl got inside the body of the boy and the boy... well he can listen to her talking but more i dont know. Its a lets plqay i watched and i would like to continue. QwQ Do you maybe know what game it is? Maybe its from a series.
Should I get animal crossing or fae farm? Wanting to play this game but which one? PS this my first time playing on switch OLED. Just bought this month.
