A look at how the FAE STC200DT stone crusher levels out the roads inside an existing apple orchard in the Witzenberg Valley of the Western Cape in South Africa. Uneven terrain filled with bumps and large embedded rocks makes it difficult for the farming equipment to last. So by doing soil levelling the terrain becomes more even and there is a significant drop in repairs & maintenance costs of tractors, spraycarts, trailers and other equipment.
The FAE STC200 DT is a Stone crusher designed for PTO tractors with a fixed teeth rotor. New Holland T7040 tractor is driving this beast.
The STC was designed and built to meet the needs of professionals requiring stone crushing up to 30 cm diameter and working in the ground up to 20 cm deep. Here the FAE mulcher is doing land preparation to make an even terrain for spray carts to drive on.
The FAE Stone Crusher STC200 was imported by TOMCAT Wood Chippers to South Africa as there is quite a need for a stone crusher unit in the agricultural sector. The unit was put to the test in different applications, soil and rock types to test the units' performance and running costs. Our conditions are different to the rest of the world and that is why it was needed to run the unit to see first hand how it performs. This PTO head is one of the firsts of it's sort and is something new for the South African market.
STONE CRUSHER WITH FIXED TOOTH ROTOR The STC was designed and built to meet the needs of professionals requiring stone crushing up to 30 cm diameter and working in the ground up to 20 cm deep. With the exception of the STC 125, each STC model comes with a dual transmission to ensure even power distribution across the rotor. Hardox® steel is used to line the crushing chamber along with the skids and ploughshare. This extends the life span of the STC and makes it a better investment for growing businesses.
