Mohanlal is an improved actor by the passage of time but youngesters now are already trained to be an actors nd they have to show their talent at the instance cz of huge competition nd I don't think that didn't happened during the earlier time.
@@RiyazAhmed-mf3we He's very famous here. Tamilians love his films and talk about his acting level for hours just like mallus ;) -- those limited shows had a better houseful record than other actor's big releases.
@@AFS_Studio i watched trance in theatre in chennai.the show was housefull but the 70 percentage of the viewers r malayalis. His shows are housefull because of malayalis who are living in chennai. I know many tamilians who are fans of fahad.even i am fan of him.but his fans are very less compared to tamil actors here.he is gaining popularity due to OTT.but right now there are only few thousands of tamilians who are his fans.
Malayalam movies are the most underrated industry..what a collection of master piece stories they have, pure natural acting . Love watching them . Though am Telugu but I watch more Malayali movies than my mother tongue.. and such a simplistic human being Fahadh
If you are a fan of fahad, this is a must film of his ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IbD5Baz0kOI.html Iyyobinte pustakam The book of Job
@@kiranpgangadharan6750 Can u tell where does we have malayalam movies with English subtitles,as I have a language problem. My mother tongue is telugu so.
He too ia a star kid. But see his maturity level of acting and so much grounded. The malayalam industry does not hv the 100 cr club. They value the quality of films and maintain the standard of cinema
True but when he failed in his first movie, he took a break and came back to movies after years when he felt was ready. There are some other star kids who have no talent, delivers poor performances and flops and they do movie after movie.
Oh My God, this is unbelievable, one of the very best Indian actors of current generation is finally here in FC. I became a huge fan of him since I first saw him in Bangalore Days and got addicted to Malayalam movies, seen most of his films thereafter. He is one of the very few actors who can portray every emotions effortlessly.
@@neethushukoor85 yes, watched all of them you mentioned and liked them, specially North 24 katham and Maheshinte Prathikaram. Annayum Rasoolam was heartbreaking and his acting in Trance was out of this world.
Yes finally the legend is here. Thank you FC for this 🙏 His eyes do all the acting. Seen him in Super deluxe, Trance, Kumbalangi nights, Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum and next will be Amen with LJP cannot wait to see it
Thank u so so much. I discovered Fahad through Dulquer in Bangalore Days. And fell head over heels in love with him. He is so similar to Irfan in the way they both seem to do so little to convey so much. I am a Bengali and I have watched so many of his films. He already has a pan India fan base. Vijay Sethupati next pls.
He already said, he can't think in other language - culture other than Malayalam. It's difficult to go to other language with that limitation in his mind. And he has every right to choose what he wants as an actor. I guess ,he donot believe in " Actors don't have borders or language "! I respect him for his honesty ,same thing Vijay Sethupathi too said.
@@samanthamasters5015 He just said fahadh needs to be recognised all over. Not that he must do movies all over. People all over the country fell in love with him through just his malayalam movies. Its not olden days. People can find subtitles and watch any language these days. And he is still open to other languages. He already said he is in for Kumararaja's next tamil movie.
Samantha Masters Limitation of his mind? It is the nature of his mind, not its limitation. Everyone of us has a particular nature. By the way he was just being polite.
Actually being a keralian as well as a local resident of bengal n a colossal fan of both bollywood malayam movies, i feel the nuances, emotions and the dialects of both hindi n malayalam audience r different. A certain dialogue which may be a deeply rooted sentiment of mallu audience may not have tht lasting effect with a hindi audience.. Thts d reason a subtle class movie like 'thondimudalum drikshashiyum' wont win the hearts of a hindi audience as it did for the south industry...
I think Fahad is more into 'Cinema' than just 'acting' or 'stardom'... look how excited he is when he say "I hope he make that film coz it's a great script" (even though he isn't a part of it)... He has earlier quoted the Italian movie 'Cinema Paradiso' has influenced him in great lengths.
It's surprising that he was so open and 'ready to interact' during an interview. Guess remote working is actually helping this introverted genius. Keep giving us amazing films fafa. Fanboy since Chapakurish.
When the interview came to an end,I was like why fahad,Why are you leaving so soon. Thank you fc for this interview. Love you fahad. Love from Chennai. FaFa
@@imonceagainaskingforyourfi4432 He doesn't like going to interviews. He is less active in social media and movie promotions as well. He just concentrates on acting.
FROM TELANGANA I have seen many good actors so far...but never felt WOW....for the first time, after watching TRANCE...I feel so.Since then I'm watching all his movies and never feel monotony in his acting. He always choose different scripts and perform it uniquely. .......GREAT ACTOR....
As a Telugu guy I want to see a movie of Mohanlal garu and Fahad Act Together That's only possible by Malayalam film makers... I'm huge fan of Malayalam movies I'm surprised how they Make such good movies..such a simple and unique...hats off them...
I don't think of fan boy as a gender specific word.. I've heard so many people of all genders using the word "fan boy moment".. But yeah, you've a point.. Apologies if this comment hurt anyone.
The best actor of Indian cinema. He doesn't need to say a dialogue, just his eyes and body language say everything. Though I am not a malayali but after watching his films I think he's in the conversation of "the best actor today".
Iam from telangana after seeing Idukki song from maheshithe pratikaram I became big fan of Fahad I searched his movies and started watching how talented he is his eyes will show thousands of emotions
Actually I wanted to learn languages other than Tamil so I started watch Telugu movies and Malayalam movies during this lockdown days and I started to see in my FB posts that many of them recommended to watch Fahadh's movies like Kumbalangi Night, Take Off, Trance, 22 Female Kottayam and guess what he is the craziest actor that I ever saw and I love his natural acting and I have already became his ardent fan ❤️ Even I watched Velaikaran and Super Deluxe and he has done a great job in those movies ❤️ Last but not least Happy Birthday Fahadh Fasil 🔥 Lots of love from Malaysia 💕

@@sum304Sure these are some movies which i liked-Take off,Ennu Ninde Moideen, Ustad Hotel,22 Female Kottayam, Diamond Necklace and Sufiyum Sujatayum...hope you will like it too
Fahadh is a quintessential actor who doesn’t care whether he plays a negative character . I first noticed that when he played negative lead in 22fkotyam and agreeing to the last scene where his manhood got compromised Or agreeing the play the thief in Thondimuthal where Suraj character suited him on paper Or playing Shammi in Kumbalangi. Yes, in hindsight he stole the show, but on paper he could have asked some other actor to play the negative role and he could have taken the more heroic role of either brothers given he was producing the film Fahadh definitely that 8 year hiatus after his first film learnt the craft of acting and redefining why actor shouldn’t hesitate to portray any character
He's so childlike and his laugh is infectious ❤️ I loved how he got shy everytime they complimented him or talked about his craft ❤️ I would love to meet him in person 😁
Maheshinte Prathikaram is being remade in Telugu. Satyadev is a pretty good actor but I am worried about whether Satyadev can pull off Fahaadh's subtle emotions. Generally Telugu movies tend to be emotion forward.
Being a Malayali I was very disappointed with Premam remake . But I saw the trailer of uma maheshwara and I feel sathyadev has done a good job and he has done justice to that role. It feels pretty realistic and that's what we require for such characters. Waiting for the film
@@dilip_s We watch both commercial and non commercial films . Commercial films have always overshadowed the non commercial and good films and independent films made in telugu as they are mostly if small budgets. We like films of different kinds irrespective of the language provided it should match our sensibilities.
@@aishwaryagade9143 These malayalam movies are all mainstream commercial movies even if they look artsy. Great to hear such movies r made in telugu also but then why big stars like prabhas, allu not willing to make movies like wht fahad does in malayalam? Are they worried abt their image or scared of audience not accepting them.
Fahadh, you are our Irrfan from south. That's it. when I lost him, it was just a month after that i came to know about your work. And trust me, it has helped me a lot. Your eyes, Fahadh. Your eyes. (I never thought i would ever write any other name instead of Irrfan while complimenting someone's eyes.
It's amazing how Talent silences the nepotism debate.... He too is a director's son..launched by his dad....but his towering talent & humility & the malayalam industry's screen test make that problem go away. He is now giving a lease of life to so many experimental makers who don't have a godfather....
Finally got the one actor the whole India wanted in Fim Companion. While Rajeev Masand goes wandering around regular stuffs, film companion is finding the right people. Thank you for bringing Fahadh.
Oh Wow, Great Interview. Maam the problem with Bollywood is not the lack of talents, its lack of story and guts to take risks. Like fahadh said i dont think any mainstream bollywood actor would do a role like in 22 F K or Chappa Kurish. Last time Pruthviraj debut in Bollywood, he ended up being in worthless "Aiyaa" Use of High octane talents like Fahadh or Pruthvi can only be done in South Cinema, bollywood is only about ego and celebrity status.
Everything he said about Irrfan sir, i felt the same for him when i first watched him in banglore days. And after that i watched all of his movies back to back. Now il go watch his movie artist.
His “Iyobinte Pusthakam “ and “Annayum Rasoolum” are just amazing. “Artist” was just ok in my opinion 😀I even like his comedy roles like “Oru Indian Pranayakatha” and “Njyan Prakashan”

Anurag Kashyap should come up with movie where he casts Fahadh Faasil and Nivin Pauly. Will be a treat for audience to watch both of them in one movie performing intense drama
