candyrain009 Well, i like to think, i don't just spew out words without knowing what they actually mean. The fact that you agree with this guy's "pure genius" on something like this means you're too easy to please, you clearly don't think and comedy is definitely not your forte. I'm into heavy ones, like Carlin, Hicks, C.K., Pryor, Chappelle so i know what comedy means and i know where i come from. And i come here to discover comedians with potential, so i will give my opinion based on my experience and intellect which, ones again, you don't seem to posses. "pure genius"...go see some real comedy and get back to me without sounding like a teenager if that's at all possible.
candyrain009 Plus, the majority of the people there are supposed to be adults and this guy is a professional. He's not just telling jokes at the table while drinking with friends, so of course i'm going to take it seriously, as a planned comedy act. That's what you don't understand. And i liked this guy, but this is light years away from being "pure genius".
I drive a tow truck I get the same question I mean about tow truck not uber. It's boring to hear the same question over and over but I think people trying to be nice and friendly so I do unswer it as if It's my first time with smile in my face 😁
Same goes. A lot of uber driver want to talk to passenger too. Part of it is probably because theres the rating system. The driver want to be nice to you.
+GreenJanuary True this new gig economy that is growing is changing what it means to have a safe and secure job with potential for growth. But at the same time it's really only for those who are working part time already and need extra income. It's a debate we are going to hear more often about.
In Mexico, it's backwards with the cab drivers... They play a very important roll in society, they're like mobile psychologists. That firefighter bit was the best part!
It's crazy how the first two minutes of this clip were him making jokes about middle-eastern men, and no one gave any crap about that in the comments. But the first clip I see of a Black guy that drops a black joke, the comment section is loaded with "typical black comedian, can't make any jokes, has to resort to black jokes"
" ... then the band had creative differences" that had me laughing ! good stuff, P.S I bet his "Ahmed" character on one of his uncles. All 2nd generation kids have that one uncle they make fun of lol
As an Uber driver who has never ridden with Uber... I must be a minority. I get chatty riders all the time asking me the same old questions to make unnecessary conversation. Like, I don't mind if you have something interesting to say, but small talk is not my jam. They'll never know, though - I'm too polite. :-/
I get canned conversations too. It does get boring and even sometimes tiring having to tell the same stories while driving, but remember you don't always get the same riders each time. They know close to nothing about you until they get in the car.
I see what you mean now. Changing the subject by putting them on the spot seems to buy a little time (i.e., so how's your day/night going so far? where we going today?, can I demonstrate to you how a fleshlight works?).
That joke about firefighter... It's kind of a thing for motorcycle riders. If you in any kind of trouble, near by biker can come out and help. It's an app thing.
