6:04 Actually if you became completely invisible, you would not be able to see. Your eyes stop light and use that data to form a picture. If you were invisible, the light would go through your eyes you would have nothing to form a picture with. That would render you completely blind.

It’s how you know where your limbs and body parts are in space without actually seeing them - for example, you can touch your nose with your eyes closed because of proprioception. Your brain creates an internal “map” of where every part of your body is, and keeps track of it - after all, blind people are able to walk and move, and they know where their limbs and body parts are located.

@@lordgaia1812 idk if you've already read the answer, but how eyes work is that they refract light that hits our eyeballs, and that feeds information to the brain and forms and image. I think that was it, it also involves stuff like light reflecting on surfaces so you can see, that's why you're basically blind in complete darkness cause there's no light to reflect your surroundings and eyes. That's why if you were invisible, light would just pass through you and won't form an image, making all invisible people blind. Yeah i know when we out science into it, it hurts weird but that's real life.

People could see the light reflecting off your eyes (hence how we see eyes) except to the extreme because that's the only place the light reflects, making you a floating pair of glowing eyes.

Scientifically, its impossible to see when invisible because part of your movement depends on sight. Also if that type of invisibility includes refraction around your body so light doesnt touch u and reflects of u, then light wont get to ur eyes. Also the spot where ur standing would be partially blury instead of clear

If you're invisible, that means that all light passes through you, even through your eyes, you can see because the light is absorbed by your eyes, but that isn't possible when you're invisible, since light passes through what would normally absorb it.

6:10 sigh, yet again I need to explain the ropes to everyone who isn't smart enough to understand. I thought you knew this, Markiplier! You see, we SEE things because of the light that goes through our pupil and focuses on the retina, then travels to our brain. When we are invisible, light passes THROUGH the retina, and we would not have any light focus on our retina. Therefore, we would see nothing. Probably black, since black is when we see no colors reflected onto our retina.

unless the pill makes you reflective and invisible, light can still get to your eye since being invisible doesn't or well, shouldn't make body parts disappear completely so the light should make it to your eye. but that is my theroy.

Invisibility not working explanation: Light needs to hit the rods and cones within your eyes and then the rods and cones needs to relay the light's message to the brain in order for you to see. If you're invisible, the light just passes straight through without hitting the rods and cones so you wouldn't be able to see anything.

Wern Decamaru, if light bounced off you, then it would hit someone's eye, and therefore you would be seen. Light would have to pass through you if you weren't seen, which is why invisibility isn't possible with the exception of game logic.

Yeah, real invisiblity isn't technically possible, but there is other way of becoming invisble to the eyes of other; I'm thinking like the Stealth camo, in Metal gear solid games. In this case, you are only slitghtly visible.

Well, think of it this way: if you're invisible, you're not reflecting light, right? But what if you do reflect light? What if you are invisible because you bend and change light to give off the illusion of invisibility? That would mean that your eyes receive light.

Omg this game is so nostalgic for me. Not just because I have played it before, but because of the era of my life it represents. Flash games, Stickpage, and Newgrounds specifically, used to be a huge part of my life. I have since moved away from that type of thing, but this game just brings me right back to those golden years...It was pretty epic to see Mark play this. Especially since I gave Newgrounds a random visit not 2 hours previous.

Yup. Light (in the visible spectrum) hitting your retina (plus a bunch of stuff the brain does) is what allows for sight. *If your retina was invisible The light would pass right through it so you would be completely blind.* (That’s not even mentioning stuff like the dust on your skin still being visible turning you into what would appear a walking cloud of human shaped dust.)

Actually, if you're invisible, all light goes through you. Light doesn't just reflect in mid-air. It may bend very slightly, but it won't reflect in the opposite direction.
