Tried to do a dryer gold recovery test during maintenance. Moved onto another project before saving what was recovered from the vacuum. Was not going to post this, but it does have some fire safety. @VendettaProspecting
Very Nice,, I am in progress on a video right now. mine died completely and scrapped the whole unit.Should get a couple nice copper bars out of it. Thanks for sharing!
Dang man, 20 years old, That dryer is definatly well maintained by you! I have found gold in my washer recirculation filter but have never tried the dryer. Going to clean mine today after seeing this will put all in a bucket and will save the lint from the screen till i fill the bucket. will then burn it and run it through the blue bowl. should be fun.
I have the same dryer. My element went out a handful of years ago so I had to swap that out. Otherwise it's been a great dryer. My matching washer stopped draining properly about 2 months ago. Had to clean that output filter. It's always something!
Yup...has to clean out the same thing...think a sock or something got in there...which is crazy lol. This set was given to us many years ago and the washer tub had to be replaced because of the hard water.
@a3skywarrior929 I tend to gripe alot about all the crap that breaks at my house all the time. But I have to start looking at the bright side at least I know how to fix 95% of all of it.
on the older ones, if not heating check the sencers first. if a sincere is bad. you can drop it on a hard serfice or tap it with something. this will reset the sincere. then it will start heating again. sounds stupid but try it... it REALLY works. now this is only for the older models
Great tip...some reset that way or a button. The thermostat rarely goes bad but when they do; there's nothing you can do to Jerry rig it. Flipped washers and dryers on base housing many moons 🌙 ago
