FAILED Her Driving Test 3 Times! How YOU Can Avoid It!

hi francis thanks for all of your videos. i spammed about 5 of them last night and this morning before my 3rd test and i’ve finally passed to anyone else reading, don’t give up! i almost gave up but i grinded through it

I failed 4 times in the space of 3 months I.e from September to December. Finally passed last Friday. You can do it if you focus on correcting your mistakes and most importantly, never give up!

I think luck is a big part of it too. Millions of people take tests and a few of them will be very unlucky every test and fail for something that was technically their fault but was awkward or happens very rarely and it threw them off.

You know back in 2016 I failed 3x as well. It was due to one of those way of priority traffic lights, I stopped a bit too close to allow drivers to pass through. However everything else as the instructor said was a smashing drive. Driving is nerve racking so I wish her success. Keep up the good work man!

Interesting video, she maybe needs to work on her confidence and I'm sure the rest will come. Loving these videos, I passed last week in Morden and your videos definitely helped. I'll keep tuning in even though I'm now qualified!

At 18:50 I think the parked car may have been a factor of why she cut the corner, she could just about do it without cutting it.

You could tell she was anxious about parking up and she didn't look out the back window. Having failed on this myself for only being away from the curb slightly i can honestly say, just stop early on and ask to redo it. You'll only get a fault. Trying to fix it mid way doesn't always go as planned, especially when you're anxious on the test. Wishing her good luck on her next test!

First time fully watched your video and amazed how wonderful person and teacher you are, so i am your new subscriber, as far as sima pardon she talks alot resulting her missing focus from road/objective, so if she focus more i believe she can pass it one day 🎉

21:43 I think the term "Cross the Roundabout" means go straight on in Sat Nav speak. The Sat Nav thinks this is a left turn or straight on roundabout. In this case without road marking arrows left lane would be for turning left and right lane for straight on, although there is not enough space for defined lanes. We seem to drive over the island and not keeping left of it and steering about it. This flusters the student who does not make a full assessment of the subsequent zebra. As soon as you spot Belishas or zig zags you need full view of entire zebra and pavements both ends to proceed safely..

2:30 The camera showing traffic from the right does not give a view far enough down the road. I don't know student's eye line but I should have wanted to get a touch further forward if I had a similar view. This way you can anticipate safe opportunities earlier.

Simple rule for meeting situation. Look ahead, calculate your and on coming traffic's speed, check vehicles if they are parked on your side, check if oncoming vehicle is coming through and you think you can make it - THEN STOP DON'T!

I think it was a good video only sima observations and ahead planning were a little too infrequent . I think a few lessons with you Francis she would pass no problem. Also the bad habits could be broke quite quickly with your help

I have noticed through this mock test that sima needs to focus more in general and less talking.

7:31 Lesics the channel on here has a diagram video on how the clutch works i would recommend and suggest to any Learners who want prefer a visual explanation Almost a seven minute video 😊 Hopefully she can take some lessons with Francis or Laura Work on the clutch control (there are some videos online about this) 🎉 4:05 i liked she shared her background in Qatar and Lebanon 😮 i think sima is lovely, perhaps similar to what Jackie a recent Learner on the channel say the Learner can put pressure on themselves to pass and driving test nerves So hopefully next year in 2024 she can pass in mitcham driving test center. ❤

My thought: Focus more driving, talk less.

Frankly,and this is going to sound harsh but I wouldn't feel safe in a car with her with all these mistakes,she should consider whether or not to continue. If you've failed three times and are still making these serious mistakes... I know if it were me,I'd stop.

Hey Francis- Reg the parallel park- it did seem like she was checking behind and on the sides all through the manoeuvre, even waited for the other car to pass. Where did she go wrong? Am i missing something?

absolutely felt it when she said she's been driving for 15 years and managed to fail 3 times in the uk, there's something about driving in the uk that seems almost unnatural, way more nuances and things that need to be done a certain way despite having a practically zero chance of causing an accident, passed my test in france over 8 years ago, drove in germany and spain for almost 3 years,, zero claims or points on my license, took my chance at a mock test in the uk and despite my calmness and more than usual awareness on the road ended up with 1 serious faults and 6 minors, all i could do was laugh at the examiner once it was done, it's a joke really, it's almost like driving a car in the uk is a privilege and they try to make it as difficult for you as possible? maybe because there arent that many people driving? and so people like sima who clearly deserves a license are left to keep forking out money and taking constant tests just to legally get behind the wheels in the uk, you almost forget how easy it is to pass and hit the road in other parts of the world, africa, america, australia..

Not being funny, but maybe if she wasn't talking so much and concentrate a bit more on the drive things would be better 😅 Call me cynical but not convinced examiners talk to you to relax candidates, it's to see if they can multitask ie have a chat a focus on the drive. I sat on a test which was going great until the examiner engaged in conversation. My guy failed because of a serious. At the end of the test the examiner said he had zero driving faults.

Francis I love you mate, but I'm not enjoying cutting back to you in your office, I feel like it breaks up the flow and entertainment of the video, it pulls me out of it.

For the part you failed . It sounds like you hadn't taken a glance at the screen as it would highlight the road you are too take. If im going to area i dont know i will listen to the voice plus glance at the sat nav to know which road it refers too especially in a built area where junctions can be close together . The only other thing is if you where stood on the road side would you prefer someone to use the other side of the road to pass you safely or give minimum space to pass. So you see the hazard on the left . Look double the distance past . The question ask yourself is. Is anyone from the opposite going to be arriving at the same time yes no. Is anyone going to be crossing no . Now you can pull towards the right and make safe . Plus what would you prefer when getting in and of your car someone giving more space or just thinking thier car will self destruct if goes near the opposite lane or into it.

Instead of yacking fully concentrate! Ugh 😑
