Just few days before the leg between us, Olympiacos made a crucial change in the coach position with Jose Luis Mendilibar, he miraculously transformed the team for the better. Had we played against you with Carlos Carvalial, we would have been eliminated. Strange but true. As for the game FERENCVÁROSI didn't put much of a fight as expected, even after the 0-1 by Olympiacos. Of course Olympiacos didn't allow any easy play too.

When you guys promised "hell" and ,knowing the gentle nature of Hungarians, I simply refused to believe it. The atmosphere in Grouoama proved me right. Ferencvaros are a good team but Olympiacos are even better. The last 2 years have been very bad for us due to mismanagement but ,hopefully, this is all in the past with a very good coach at the helm and superb additions in January. Best of luck to Ferencvaros.

I was at the game as well (behind the opposite goal) and I think the atmosphere was pretty good. And of course it’s always hard to “compete” against Greek fans. When talking about the team, it’s exactly how you described it. Getting eliminated in the knockout stages of a European competition is not a problem (and even a nice achievement), but this mentality is fucking me off. Always the same shit tbh. How the hell can’t these players be on fire for a game like this and in such an atmosphere?! It’s simply disappointing.

To be honest this season Olympiacos play mostly like shit. And the previous season also. In 1,5 year we've sign or loan over 60(!!!) players, and change 6-7 coaches and 3 sport directors! Insane!! Our current coach Mentilibar ask to sign a 4 month contract just to check the team and decide if the enviroment is the right one for him. Otherwise he'll leave when the season is over. Before the first match i was sure about our defeat. But luckily we've won 1-0. I was a little more optimistic before the Budapest game, but not very much. It was a pleasant surprise for all of us our win and qualification, but above all how relatively easy this came. I guess postponing your league game was a mistake, the team lost its momentum. In the Karaiskakis game Ferencvaros was way better than the last one. Anyways, good luck in your league, hope to meet again in Ch.L!
