I’m honestly tempted to put John Morrison on here, I’m a fan of the guy but him just randomly being there on Smackdown with Miz was just like huh? What?
Gail Kim's first WWE Run from 2003-2004 is 10X Better than her 2008 return at least in her first run she won the women's title in her debut which was awesome her theme song that she used in 2003 is iconic.
@@WRESTLEWITHANDYthat could actually be a video... Tell a couple of old wrestling stories but change small details and then we can comment to see who picked up the most...
Test should have won the ECW World title. He had the look (not for the best reasons, cause it cut his life short), was a lot more menacing and ruthless in the ring. It's a shame he was just another guy in that brand.
The WWE’s ECW was weird I’m a 30 year old millennial and I remember that new ECW on Syfy The old ECW which Paul E was in charge of in the 1990s blows that other ECW away
I've got one. Apparently during the lead up to John Cena's tables match with Sheamus, when Carlito came out to tell John that Sheamus represented everyone in the back; this was meant to be a shocking return and have a angle attached to it. However the reception was so underwhelming, mostly cuz he wasn't gone long enough for it to be a return, that it ended as soon as Cena AA'd him.
A shame Mr. Hughes never got a fair shake. The man was extremely agile for his size and was downright intimidating to look at in WCW. Dude used to scare the hell out of me. Would've loved to see him more back then. I get why he failed in WWE.
My understanding was the reason why Hacksaw came back was because he had been diagnosed with a serious illness and the WWE signed him a Legendary contract to help cover his medical bills.
Everyone here left and came back and left in some fashion….Swagger just got suspended for the Wellness Policy. Test’s return got hampered by the internet and his steroid abuse. Plus, Barbie Blank. Gail Kim came back at a time creative didn’t have a lot to do with the order talent….Hence, the way she departed again.
Only about 11% of current comments mentioned the Duggan/Hughes mix up. Must say I'm impressed and yeah, once I saw the first 4 out of 10 mention it, i figured I'd satisfy my curiosity and scroll the 155 current comments
swagger was over during we the people run. they killed his push whenever they had him lose to rusev at summerslam i believe it was. he had a good rivalry with del rio too. he’s not great on the mic which is why he had zeb colter, but there’s no reason he couldn’t have had a couple runs with a mid card title(s)
@@daevonthesavage7483 i definitely agree. if they were ever gonna put the world heavyweight title around his waist, it should’ve been during the we the people run
I would say about Animal's return....it was never gonna be good for all the reasons stated, but was also hurt due to returning while Sid was laying in the ring with a broken leg
Hey team! Just wanted to let you know you left in the "Gave Fans What They Wanted" tag from a few videos ago from the saved thumbnail template instead of the "Failed To Make A Memory" in the actual title.
The 2000's Jim Hacksaw Duggen is the version I was introduced , I was confused to he was or what accomplishments he had achieve... so it definitely confused me to as who he really was as a wrestler or his relatives
The reason Jack Swaggert was forgotten and he never drew a dime as champion in the first place was because of his personality and mic skills (or lack thereof in his case and it never changed) Bottom line he sucked in the WWE
The reason why Virgil is not well liked in the wrestling community is because he has a superiority complex. He thinks he deserves the praise of a top tier reaction whenever he's spotted. And he will charge for the simplest things. Their was a post from a guy that said Virgil wanted $100 just because the guy spotted him in public.
Animal coming to WCW in 2001 was after longer than just a year of bad booking lol, Try 2 years solid of straight running sh*ts. Hell Id'e argue 1999 was wayy worse than even 2000. At least in 2000 there was nothing left to ruin.
you kinda knew WCW had lost it when their last big signings were a not even remotely goldust Dustin & RWA who went round enforcing & beating everyone including a scary as shit scott steiner.
9:20 why would Chrie Jericho need a mid card manager???? Are we trying to say that a midcard journeyman can talk better than Jericho? At that time out would've been Paul Heyman or no one, and no one was a perfectly good answer. Maybe Cornette but i don't remember if he was still around but either way... you don't take a guy that's great on the mic and have someone who has never got over and no one knows or cares about talk for them.... lol my God.
Agreed. I love this channel but I hate how he always says "The Chicago boy this, the Florida native that". He just absolutely loves using cities/states all the time. But with that said it's a small gripe overall for the awesome content he consistently puts out.
Turning Stone Cold Steve Austin Hell in the main event at the Wrestlemania in Houston was the biggest and most costly mistake the WWE ever made.... change my mind. That switch would have to be made at some point but they were likely years early making it. This started the shift away from the attitude era which was mishandled to no end. Whether the WWE likes it or not wrestling needs to be at minimum a PG13 program with R rated moments. It needs to be violent, it needs adult storylines filled with drama and while every woman doesn't need to show the audience her breast, sex does sell and having big strong men and beautifully women is necessary. Everytime post 1980s the WWE or any other "Sports Entertainment" (lol) company tries the cartoony, word super hero, PG stuff it is cringe and the ratings fall off of a cliffe. If you want proof of this ask Disney why the Avengers isn't PG. Will anyone other than the McMahons try and argue with what I've said??? 🙃🙃🙃🙃🤷♂️🤦♂️
Orlando Jordan This Was TNA Not WWE and He still flopped with his Flamboyant LGBT gimmick given he's Bisexual in real life which made uncomfortable viewing in my opinion
