I have always enjoyed playing the Car Mechanic Simulator games, but how does the new version stack up ? Don't forget to like and subscribe :), also if you are feeling really generous you can support me on patreon www.patreon.co...
I love how they excluded the twin sequential turbos and rat's nest of vacuum line part of the RX-7. Had they included that; everyone would have raged whilst working on that car.
Is it just me, or can I not get more than 30-40 fps and not turn off mouse acceleration? At it's current state it's also really buggy... When refitting the brakes, it tends to not put on the brake pads and then crash lol.. Currently it's not worth buying.. Wait a few days... Until most of the stuff is patched..
TheGeekSoup it's funny how my cracked version of the game has none of those problems. I do get lag, but I'm staying at 50fps on ultra settings without crashes. I'm going to buy this game right away when the issues are fixed. I dont understand why people are complaining about poor optimization. You have a very graphically intensive game which is hard to optimize quickly. I only have a i5 7500 and a msi gtx 970, which is not the best and my gpu is barely above recommend on steam and I'm still playing on ultra fine. People need to see that this game has just released and do their research if they can run it or not. The game hasn't even been out for 24hours yet. Wait till the first patch instead of bashing the devs. And also, you're playing a car mechanic game. You're not playing csgo, seige, Or any other first person shooter. You shouldn't be worrying about your fps in a cms game. As long as the game is playable it's just fine.
Your anecdotal experience is just that: Anecdotal. Plenty of people, whether their rig is awful or a beast, experience unplayable framerates on anything above low. There are plenty of people who experience game breaking bugs, savegame corruptions, crashes, etc. Few people end up not experiencing some of these issues, such as yourself, but the majority do. This game is far from "very graphically intensive". It's a pretty game, but if I can play games that are leagues more taxing on my system at 60fps 1080p perfectly fine, then this game should be able to run just as well. Also, "hard to optimize quickly"? This game has been in development for years; They've had plenty of time to figure out if the game can even play on most systems. The major problem people have with this release is the fact that it was so unfinished. This isn't an EA title, it's a RELEASE. You do not RELEASE a product that isn't finished. End of story. There is absolutely no way that they weren't aware of the massive problems the game had before release, yet released it anyway. If they released this as an EA title for easy QA testing then all of our complaints would be simple feedback for the devs to fix, which is the entire point of an EA title. The issue isn't patience or the ability of the developers, its an issue of quality control. Not everything in this world is as black and white as "Don't worry, they'll fix it later". If we dont hold companies accountable (regardless of size, that is not an excuse) then we will continue to get products of laughable quality. Not to mention PlayWay begging people to stop leaving negative reviews, which is simply pathetic. And this is coming from a diehard fan of the CMS series, as well as CMS 2018 when it isnt crashing or getting framerates above 25. Release an unfinished game and consumers will treat it that way. I look forward to the patches that fix this game and will continue to purchase their content, assuming it matches the quality of their previous games.
Alex, FYI you dont have to back out of the 'part mount' bit. Just click on the part you want to look at, auto zoom in on it. Useful for putting wheels on etc
i will be getting this game, i wish to be able to work on my own car, and this may help me learn a little, by the way, i am not super new here, but i don't know this, but where do you have your car experience from, like how do you just know how the things are working ? :D love the video :D
Great videos so thank you for your time spent on them. I’m thinking of getting this game but wonder how easy it is to reassemble parts in the right order after a complex repair. i can see myself getting stuck with a dismantled engine all over the garage. Watching your junkyard post reminded me of scrapyard visits searching for replacement alternators and haines manuals. ))))
First impressions: It looks like there's a lot more to/earn in this game. I found myself kind of bored of Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 after earning all the tools and whatnot. So that's good. But the UI in this game looks like a huge step back. The menus look more swish but the way they play in game just looks a lot more clunky.
Such a nice game.. In comparison with this the 2015 version looks like total garbage.. Btw did you play Street rod or Street rod 2? :D Btw there's a bug in the game that duplicates your things.. New ones and even some old ones..
I'll wait for the gold version (or something similar to that) to be out instead of buying the future DLCs for now. I still need to save for a new PC anyway, so I can buy it in summer sale next year.
That's true. even on low settings you will lag a ton on a $2500 rig. Not to mention freezes and crashes that happen often. After 10 minutes the game crashed Steam because I was searching for Body part for a tutorial car.
zarazka 3 the game runs perfectly fine on my pc. On ultra settings in getting 40 to 50 fps. I don't notice any lag. I have a i5 7500, and a msi gtx 970. Not the best, but this bs about lag is just insane. Sure it is choppy but you're playing a car mechanic game. Not csgo. Not a first person shooter either. And you do not need a 2500$ pc to play this game. You clearly dont know what you're talking about. And I didn't buy the game yet. And considering how well it's running for me and how addicting it is, I will buy it. I never had any crashes, I never had any noticeable issues either.
TandL Valenzuela well I only said I'm not buying it because of the steam reviews, been a while since I've seen a game with "very negative" reviews, and most of them are talking about lag
Classic car mechanic, order says "change oil and check the tires" - mechanic changes tires, changes oil and ignores changing the old oil filter. Take about real sim! lol
when are they going to go open world with multiplayer maybe? this is a great concept to make us race other people and not just sell the cars we fix but make cars for us! Just like street legal racing redline or what street tuning evolution tried to be!!! cmon people!
