Was in the middle of watching Soup the Weatherman on the GOONS Podcast when I got the notification that this video uploaded. Thank you Soup (and Ethan) for even more content 💛
i was going to say that describing obviously fatal car crashes as 'fails' is kind of a weird/stupid thing to do, but now that i actually hear it in my head it's pretty funny, i'm back on board.
hard to be sure but the flaming tube appeared to be a cement calciner - it's job is to rotate and be somewhat on fire inside as it is to dry powder that falls through it - which is why it is on a slight slope. the fact that it was very on fire and not spinning suggests that the big bearings that allow it to rotate are constantly pressurised with oil pumps, and that there was a major leak or bearing failure that caused a leak and the oil went up and then the whole thing went up. honestly if it's on fire that badly just turn off the oil and power to it and leave it to burn. you ain't putting that thing out today unless it burns itself out. it has enough fuel and oxygen, and you can't easily get water inside it. go have a few beers or something.
