I'm totally not a day late 😃 BUT I LOVED THIS SO MUCHHH!! I can't wait for the other parts, I know they are going to be AMAZINGG!! 💖 "I told you to drop it, clean up and go home. I'm not going to watch you yawning tomorrow." "Mean, Iwa-chan! Mind you, I look fabulous even when yawning." 〰He crossed his arms over his chest, putting on his best offended frown. How dared his own teammates make fun of him bye something that was 100% true? 〰He continued to give the best sets to each of his teammates, happy whenever he saw his spiker's eyes glimmer with excitement. 〰This was what he played for. The thrill, the excitement, the happiness hitting a ball well brought. For the trust his team put into him and his sets. 〰The faces of his teammates became more distinguishable, and above - or maybe below - all he recognised Iwaizumi leaning over him his face twisted with what he to his surprise realised was worry. "Oikawa... hear me?" "Yeah...?" 〰Before he could think about it, though, a very familiar hand turned his face back to Iwaizumi, the worry now even more prominent in the creases on his forehead. 〰Oikawa would give anything to be able to ruffle Kindaichi's hair to calm him down since the youngster sounded perhaps more shaken than when he accidently hit Iwaizumi with the door the first week he entered Seijoh High. ✨imagining this is so funny 🤭 "So cruel, Kunimi-chan. My dying wish and you refuse..." "Don't be dramatic, it's just a fever." "But still... and his best friend is distressed. Even you would hug me if I was distressed..." "Don't put your hopes too high, Trashykawa." "So mean, Iwa-chan..." "Focus on getting better first." " "Will you take care of me, Hajime...?" 〰He was sure he didn't imagine the shock flashing in Iwaizumi's eyes when he, unintentionally, called him his given name, but then his face softened like Oikawa had never seen before. "You know I will. But if you do this again, I'll punch you." 〰A shiver ran through his body when the surprisingly gentle fingers brushed his hair away from his forehead, the sight of the tiny, yet so soft smile curling the corner of Iwaizumi's lips up as he handed him over to the nurse following him all the way to the nurse's office. Caring Iwa is the besttt 😭

"You know I will. But if you do this again, I'll punch you". Thank you for showing so well with your amazing writing skills how special their relationship is.😍 I was really going through the rollercoaster of emotions the characters felt because of how well you described the situations 🥹🩵🩵

Not really part of the story but the "If your favourite setter isn't fainting right now they are going to be fainting in the future" had me laughing so hard 😅😂 Apart from that I really enjoy your writing, especially how you keep the overall suspense throughout the whole narrative, there never is a dull or boring moment even if there is not much action and it's just the characters casually interacting. You write the characters so lively but also so true to their original selves that I became immediatley absorbed into their world and your take on it. And of course I too am a big simp for protective, caring Iwaizumi 🙈😅

We stand caring Iwa in this household

I don't write Bokuaka at all, though they will get an exception for this series.

I talked about it before - the series is going to be split into two halves of sorts. This is "first gen" so to say, aka the older setters on the team (for the teams that have 2). The "second gen" (aka the younger setter on the team) is going to come later on when this half is finished
