I have Cerebral Palsy and I'm going through a situation where I could use some guidance and someone to talk to. I filed a HUD complaint against my apartments and won. Now, I'm facing homelessness out of retaliation. I've been just about everywhere trying everything to get the help I need in time. I need to be out by 10/7/24 I'm not asking for money. Maybe just some direction where to go for legal help. There's a lot to my situation and I'm trying to avoid being homeless. Especially when I know I've been targeted and exploited. Try your local legal aid service. They often specialize in evictions or homelessness from bad landlords. Try your local bar association. Best of luck to you.
@@kb-ip2je i appreciate you. I've done that. I make "too much" on my SSDI (by like $20) or so quality for low cost legal help and not enough for another lawyer.
