Hello! My sister knits beautiful mittens with Norwegian patterns on circular needles. (She learned to knit when she was an exchange student in Norway many years ago.) Can you teach us how to knit Norwegian colorwork/patterns flat? She wants to make mittens with solid color on the palm side and two-color or three-color patterns on the other side. She wants to duplicate a pair of mittens made by our grandmother. Those mittens had one seam, and the part near the tips of the fingers was worked in the round, picking up stitches, and I think the thumb was done in the round, too.
