Great shave Jim, interesting razor that, but I think they should rethink their Marketing as by going by your experience and opinion on the said razor as it is mid aggression someone new to traditional shaving thinking this is a mild razor would have a sharp wake-up 😂 great soap and Splash Latoja take care have a great weekend 😀👍
Evening Jim. I like good audio feedback, cannot beat that scraping burnt toast sound. I used Stirling British Leather today, lovely scented soap. Quality shave as usual mate. Take it easy. 👍
Thank you Anthony. I love the sound, especially with a straight razor. I like the idea of Stirling British Leather. It's one that I have yet to buy. Enjoy the upcoming weekend Anthony
Nice shave Jim, I still have not tried La Toja I am sad to say. I will need to pick up some soon. Love that razor and Simpson T3 is my favourite synthetic brush! Have a great rest of the week and weekend!
Wow, 125 grams. I'm surprised the razor didn't sink the ship :) A heavyweight that one. I find the idea of shaving in rough sea fascinating. You're a brave man Jim! You seemed to have a nasty cut on the neck 19:11. La Toja is actually a Spanish brand. Great stuff, cheap as chips and you can take it everywhere. Safe travels!
Hello Jo. I wonder why I thought that I was Portuguese? I'll have to check. That sea got a lot rougher as the night progressed 😂. The cut on my neck was a decapped pimple, I didn't know it was there. Enjoy your weekend Jo
Hi Jim, well that's disappointing, what! 'no metal from China' in the razor...😢... Razor looks nice but I'm not sure about the Handle, looks a bit smooth. I love how everything is now geared for Sustainability, the future is going to be an reflection of the past... Interesting video Jim. Regards
Thank you Charlie. The milder of the two would be about R4 and the more efficient plate R6+. Not exact comparisons though. Enjoy the rest of your weekend Charlie
