I have a glass jug, broken into several parts. I reassembled it with kitchen paper. I am convinced that a very nice fayri house will come. I accept advice if you can. You did a great job, thanks for sharing
Love it ! If you get yourself a box of "Reynolds Cookie Baking Sheets" ( pre cut parchement paper) and bake on that you won't have any sticking problems . I use it all the time. Clay just slides right off. Also keeps you from getting that shiney side when you bake directly on a tile.
I may have to go to goodwill and find a teapot to brake and decorate. I think I will put a cute fairy scene on the inside of the pot as well for extra cuteness.
Absolutely stunning! I do pottery in addition to polymer clay and I am definitely going to do this with my broken pieces! Thank you for sharing your wonderful work with us. 😃
Happy Halloween This is so beautiful. Sorry that the pot broke but I think this happened so you could create this masterpiece of a house the resin crystals look so cool can't wait to see how you made them
Tea caddy, tea strainer, tea ball all work. You amaze me. Never lose your imaginative and artistic eye. I happen to have one, but where on earth do you get a porcupine quill? I don't know where mine came from. Well, yeah, a porcupine. But you know what I mean. That glue can 've baked without hurting it's adhering properties? Is it special glue for poly clay or just write glue? I love this fairy house, it is my favorite so far. I hope you do another, but I think I'd like to see it (also broken and glued) laying on it's side, as if the fae came across it and made it home.
This is beautiful! Great way to save a favorite peice to. Do you have a video of how to make the light up gems? Would love to see how they were made. You have such great talent.
Please include materials used in your projects. Can i use homemade air dry clay on this project? If yes recipe please. Thank you... love all your projects.
You amaze me as usual :) /hugs Also try to find the incense called nag champa OMG its earthy and soothing its amazing I want everything to smell like it.
I want to make some sort of miniature in a old candle jar, it's got glitter label on outside. Faryie or little house. My question is this do you have to bake the polymer clay? Can you just leave it alone. With the glass jar I'm afraid of it breaking. I've had this clay just laying around thought I'd come up with some way to use it. Thanks.
Sandra Nevins the clay has to be baked to harden. Your glass candle holder should be ok. 275 degrees isn't too hot but i also usea foil topper to reflect the heat.
What are the blue things at 9:10 in the video. They look like some kind of crystals or something. You can literally take broken stuff and make beautiful art out of it. I'm still working on that one terrarium stand. I tried blending my little craft paints and making a little "ocean" and "shore." I was halfway happy with one version of the "ocean," but when when I tried to do the "shore," it just all went horrible. So, now, I'm using wood and carving the shore. That, I know I can do. I will just use the last piece of that poplar board from making the stand in the first place and do that. I still wish I knew which of these little acrylic paints to blend and in what ratios to get a greenish water tint in part of the "ocean" part. This thing is not turning out anywhere near how I pictured it, lol. It takes me forever to decorate projects after building them with the wood. I need a painter/artist person to paint things that need specifics like eyes and shores, lol. P.S. Does anyone know a better way to chip acrylic paint off an area of wood without breaking the wood too? I had a cute little wizard carved and messed him up trying to paint eyes. I broke his nose off and it went flying across the room and disappeared in a sea of wood chips and sawdust in my little work area. I had him named and everything. Painting eyes is not ever going to be something I can do, I think.
I really wish I had the ability to sculpt so freely as you do. I try to but the "not good enough, need for perfection" monster comes out and I get very disheartened. Anyways, beautiful work!
