to those that don't know, achnologia ignored wendy because he didn't "see" her. because there was the corpsr of a significantly more power dragon just feet away giving off a familiar sent ( the reason he snickered then turned n walked towards them )

well, to be fair, that time god serena wanted to fight him, while Wendy was basically paralyzed, also, there was a more interesting target laying around. maybe you guys were to "lazy" to see that or maybe it wasn't "convenient" to your narrative.
Acnologia was More fixated of irenes excistance than dragon slayers, later on he remembers what he is and what must Be fine. Kill all over grown lizards. And why writer would kill 2 of MC's only to show us how powerfull strength of friendship is, when you can do The same without killing anybody?
And it could have had 3. Meaning Natsu himself. Sadly they threw that part out the story. Seeing as how he was the strongest Demon, who Zeref himself was absolutely certain would be able to kill him. Imagine if Natsu lasted longer in his END form. Though I imagine they have more in store for his END form later on in the new 100 year quest series of Fairy tail.
@@schaydragneel4258 I was hoping Natsu would actually be the final villain and they'd resolve his demon seed issue by defeating him, that would've made this final arc so much more impactful. However seeing how they couldn't even do Zeref and Acnologia justice as villains I should've known they'd never pull a 180 and have an actual good final antagonist.
@@schaydragneel4258 END's power change as the tide tho, one time he's so strong he can walk with time stopped and curb stomp Dimaria (arguably the strongest female in the serie apart from Irene) and later Ezra stop his attack bare handed and is a little hurt because of it, like wtf? it seems like even the author hesitated on what END should be, at the end his power only made Lucy able to heal/boost him for him to beat Zeref Well either way since all demon die with Zereph, END don't exist anymore, Natsu is just a human Dragon Slayer now
@@guifire9747 I agree with most of what you said. It is silly how strong he was, walking through time and such and then Erza not only stops his attack in END form. Also stops Greys attack. I do find the ending of that arc a bit silly. (The series is still going.) That's why I partially believe his END is gone but also not.
@@schaydragneel4258 Theoretically END (and Mirajane's Seilah for that matter) are gone, but as you said, if Mashima want to use them, he'll find a reason for those form to still be around
Because he doesnt think of them as a threat.... think of it like how you just pass by some insects without harming them because they are not a threat....
It seems Acnologia and Madara have some things in common: op villain, terrifies the souls of their enemies, similar style long hair, and sees everyone around as ants
@@saumyadeepbasu6073 that's the problem, acnologia could've been badass but his development was literally 0. He had potential but he can't surpass our boii madara
I was like: who cares? You can stomp on her if you want, not like she can feel pain either way (and that won't change how she trolled him with her universe one ^^ )
As a Wendy fan and someone who got told who Acnologia was, when I saw this scene my adrenaline spiked. I totally though for a few seconds that Wendy was about to be smacked out of existence for real.
To be fair Acnologia is essentially the Fairy tail equivalent of Godzilla or Ghidorah a god of destruction without peer that you have absolutely no chance at stopping and Wendy knows who he is and remembers what he did to Igneel and the other Dragons including her foster mother I’d give her props from not passing out right then and there because god damn reading through the manga the first time everytime he shows up it never ends well and like August and Irene he was NEVER defeated in straight up fight even though Igneel came the closest and it’s debatable that if Igneel was in top condition he could’ve and near the end of the manga his Dragon form became outright impossible to stop this was just a long way of saying Wendy probably thought she was going to die too
As a comment said above Wendy has the writer on her side because if it was realistic he would have given Wendy a quick high five like he did to god Serena
What makes this scene even scarier is that if acnologia wasnt so focussed on irene he could have literally sliced wendy in half with one finger at any moment and been on his way
Something that I just got now is why he was killed the way he was. Looking back at this scene, he was someone who was basically chaos incarnate. He wasn't logical or rational, he was pure and simple evil. No amount of brute force could overcome him, since he had no limitations. Him dying any way besides the "power of friendship", as some describe it, would make this scene a mute point. This scene is powerful specifically because this is someone no one can overcome alone.
It wasn't the power of friendship for once. Natsu, even with magic power from the others, was explicitly too weak to finish the job. Acnologia pretty much gave up. According to 100 Years Quest, he just wanted it to finally be over. Natsu's blow did not beat him, but it did make him remember the parts of the past he forgot. In the end, Acnologia was just a man in grieving.
@@stubetsgamer8288 He snapped and it was the dragons fault along with the humans that willing coexisted(sell out their own kind) he couldn't save his home betrayed by dragons he trusted and after bathing in so much dragon blood(probably had some other side effects than dragonfication) he wanted to destroy the world and he was basically like Zeref who suffered from his curse but he went a little to far Zeref thought of going back in time to either kill himself or prevent his family death.Oh and he seen the slayers as dragons because of what happened to the Original Slayers in the past
imagine being the most badass, feared entity in the whole world that can transform into a dragon and your name can bring fear just by being said but you lost to the power of friendship
August’s backstory makes me so depressed 😭 thinking about it randomly ruins my day and I still cry when I watch the episodes where his story is explained. Especially when he died
I'm a fan of Irene, but I know Erza has no familial love for her. One thing I AM pleased with is that Erza ACCEPTS Irene. Once Irene fully died in the 100 Year Quest sequel, Wendy informed Erza of everything and Erza began accepting Irene. That's the most Irene can ask for.
Despite his origin story making sense into what he does his insanity and the fact of the story that a person gaining something can have consequences yeah I don’t think you understand fiction
@@rmbanimator5001 he's still pretty bland. It's literally only in the freaking last season where anything interesting regarding Acnologia happens, well besides getting his arm ripped off by Igneel. For most of the show he's barely even seen and when he is seen, it's always after a major conflict where everyone is dead tired. They really expect people to take this character seriously? He's very overrated in my opinion.
Ezra didn’t defeat Irene, Irene was still standing at then end but she stabbed herself. Out of the 12, Irene and August who were considered the strongest of the 12 are the only ones that weren’t directly defeated in combat but took themselves out of the war.
@@demondragonshi5161 i am talking about how a strong mind she had when she fighted with her mother but so scary when she faced with the one who was kicking her mother's body
The reason why a lot of people consider Fairy Tail a cartoon and not anime is cause there were no deaths and stuff and the main characters never took Major L’s like in NARUTO…..they should’ve made Acknologia kill both of them that would make the arc more intense
Not really it would be unnecessary killing Makarov should have died thats it Also Anime and cartoon both mean the same in different languages 💀 Also I know cartoons where many people just die Your logic makes absolutely no sense and no one ever said that
i once had whatever attachment i had left for fairy tail placed on this once badass villain, but even that was ultimately crushed during his final battle
You can really see the "animal" instinct of wendy here by knowing that the other "animal" is stronger and much deadlier Dragon fearing another dragon haha this anime is so good
Given his savage and almost primal disposition, I was half expecting Acnologia to actually start EATING Irene’s corpse like a wild animal. Like how a Komodo Dragon would tear into the carcass of a deer or buffalo.
@@golfie46 just saying im not a fan of this series I love fairytail in the way that it was my first anime and it got me into anime so i have a spot for it in my heart but after watching other anime i started to not like it due to other anime being better
Every time he used his dragon hunter power, he gradually transformed into a dragon and in the end he ended up transforming and mastering this transformation
Acnologia, from- my childhood Fairytail Weekly Shonen Magazine Series, teaming up with Shikamadoji, from- my childhood Seraph of the end Vampire Reign Series.
I recommend everyone to read King Rising is the backstory of acnologia. Alredy from the 10 chapters deservers a lot. But im not 100% sure if its canon, but i think so.
Всегда казалось, что между Эйрин и Акнологией что-то было, и Эрза является дочерью именно его😅 Ха ха, поидее Эрза с того же времени, что и драконоборцы)
He dint lost to power of friendship He lost because he was on a boat. He got motion sickness. From the start of Fairy tail ep1 Natsu had a motion sickness, we might think it's for comical reasons but when every dragon Slayer started having that then you should suspect what's going on? It also means that the Author decided how Acnologia is going to be defeated before he released the first chapter of Fairy Tail.
