That's the video I shot and edited. The footage is from the FATM gig at the East Club in Bischofswerda (Germany) and the audio (after the intro) is from Vera Causa. Funny to see it after all those years...
I really appreciate it, glad to see you do, something about it no? Its perfect compared to the original, and it really inspires a kind of image, feeling of urgency, excitment, and yet something unknown and mysterious, being revealed more as the the moment continues....
Increíble, jamas pensé escuchar una de mis canciones favoritas interpretado por otra de mis bandas favoritas. Las dos suenan igual de bien. Este video realmente una joya.
@@fluidalchemist68 😆🤣😂 I've seen Rikk running back and forth onstage all wired and oblivious to the fact he kept pulling his guitar cord out of his amp over and over. He is FAR from the greatest guitar player on Earth. Come on man be serious.
Que bueno que no se olvidan del legendario Rozz, ambas son dos grandes bandas góticas y esta versión de Romeo´s Distress segun mi opinión esta igual de buena que la de Christian Death; R.I.P. Rozz Williams lml
"I have a dedication to make, two years ago a very good friend of ours and our dear brother Rozz Williams, left this world for another, and unfortunately this other piece of shit using the name Christian Death was no right to the name whatsoever, he's a liar, a traitor, a cheater and a thief..."
Mariela Alvarez yeah, but, Valor also was a major contributor in Christian Death and, so, when the Band initially split in 1985(or thereabouts] he wanted to continue in his Creative a momentum.
It's history that Rozz sold the right of the name Christian Death to Valor, so why Valor should be considered as a liar, a traitor, a cheater and a thief???
@@walterzos8463 Because he's an opportunist that took advantage of Rozz and stole the rights to a band's name he had no right to use. And valor's music and voice is complete sh*t. He knew the power of the real Christian Death from their work in Only Theatre Of Pain, and he knew his talents were limited. So being the vermin he is, steal the name because he would not be able to sell music using "pompeii 99". This isn't hard to read if you use the limited brain cells in your heads.
Damn straight. Christian Death was an American Deathrock band from members in Orange County and Los Angeles County. That opportunist valor was and is a piece of waste who stole the name from a vulnerable Rozz Williams. That other band is just pompeii 99. There was only one real Christian Death, and that was the band that included Rozz and Rikk Agnew. I did see Rozz Williams live at the Billboard live in Hollywood in Nov. 1997 with Penis Flytrap opening. 6 months prior to his passing. It was a great show. That aside, they nailed this cover. This is quite possibly the best cover I've ever heard of Romeo's Distress.
I was at that tour... when they came to Italy... will never forget when i have met W. Faith and he gave me his autograph. He is a Giant :D the tallest of the musicians ever seen
HOLY FUCK. Please not meant to be disrespectful to CD or Rozz, knowing the production limitations when it was a originally was recorded, plus the thought at the time that playing sloppy made you more underground, but yeah I think this version is better than the original. Great sound from an 8 year old video.
Yeah, there's literally no reason that non-black people can't just sing "on a neighbor's lawn". It's really not hard and the song won't lose its meaning. Beyond that, though, of course this cover is flawless. Everything that they do is ♥
Sorry men, but maybe you no understand the comment, so is about the people hispanic "know" this band's, but if you now Hocico is a Mexican Band and is listed as one of the most influential bands in the genre,
are they spanish ? why so many hispanic/mexican comments? did they actually know Rozz? that would make them a tad older..what Bar/place is this? she did it a tad slower
what you see are spanish comments regardless of what country. And yes they are a.. oh what you americans call "Hispanic" band. Is there a problem with that too?
The Rights and Wrongs of Valor Kand... (actually, I like Valor. Yes, probably, he should not have hijacked the Name "Christian Death", but, what the heck, you do have to admire his output with Gitane Demone thereafter, for at least 3 more Great Albums...)
Nothing like honoring Rozz while trashing Valor. Once again, Mr. Faith has no clue what he is talking about. It's just a shame he couldn't play the song for Rozz without talking shit.
