@@thatbemefool it's respect. He has been involved in her music career / and a producer and probably more for well over twenty years now. He is foundational even to what she's doing today. A lot of the hits that we still bang now and even several of the tracks on her latest joint The King and I Stevie j produced them. So just like an actress thanks the director it is proper protocol for an artist to thank their producer. That is standard. I'm shocked that you don't know this. Additionally, it's also standard for spouses to honor and thank they their husbands and wives when they are receiving awards. Did you not know that as well? Yes, I've noticed that as well on several awards shows that she did NOT thank STEEBIE. I have no idea why that is. ] I know you guys are aware that he has produced many BANGING tracks for Faith over the years that have been huge successes for her- along with MANY other artists. Many of those songs are todays Classics. He is the HITMAKER! And I love Faith aka Ms. Karen Clark Sheard Jr SINCE DAY ONE! At the very same time is def in ORDER for her to publicly thank her Husband. Verbally and Publicly. Unsure as to why she doesn't. Thanking your spouse is a standard protocol and something that someone who honors and wants the world to know just how much they honor their husband or wife generally does. This is an age old standard from the church house to the concert hall.
