I had a 17 year old patient who was a kidney transplant. He went to a tent revival where a preacher told him to stop his anti rejection medications and trust in the Lord. He did so, his body rejected the transplanted kidney, and he died within weeks. My question is why they couldn't prosecute that preacher for murder?
I wonder about that as well. From what I understand, there are laws that protect this kind of “practice”, along the lines of tiny letters, “for entertainment purposes only”. It’s a loophole and as they aren’t doctors- who are beholden by much stricter rules and an Order- there is no supervision. It is illegal to practice medicine without a license so you’d think they were liable but no!Since they provide “advice”, it’s just that, legally. This should be illegal. Absolutely illegal.
@@raptorcrasherinc.9823 Absolutely. They are responsible for the death of many, and there are people actually doing time for considerably less severe offenses. They present themselves as figures of authority, too, and have access to a vast audience. All this makes them all the more culpable.

The moment that hand landed on his forehead probably felt like you're pulling out a tooth by the roots. Searing, instant bursts of pain and numbness. I hope he didn't end up paralyzed.
I had to look away like genuinely I felt pain just watching it I had very horrible joints since I was a kid and my wrist and the joints near my shoulders are still dying to this day so I can feel the pain
@@Tom-rd8ddI’m sure you’ve probably tried it but glucosamine and chondroitin is amazing for joints if not. Are you prepared to go after doctors who perform gender surgery? The post op unalive oneself rate is pretty high, you know. Sweden's studies found it to be about 20 times higher than normal.
Watching that first "healer" wrench that poor man's head around was horrifying. He could have paralyzed that man. You could see that the victim was in dreadful pain. I hope he was okay.
My mom passed away in 1997, from leukemia. She saw Benny Hinn, who told her to stop taking chemo bc she wasn’t stepping out in faith, if she continued taking it. She was only 51 years old.
Evangelical Christians get away with supporting some some pretty incredible things. There are actually "professional ex Satanists", "saved from the darkness" who go around talking at churches and telling their "stories of horror" to enthralled congregations while the donations add up. They usually all claim to have been High Priests, which is statistically unlikely. One guy spoke of *participating* in actual murders. When one person spoke up and asked why he wasn't in prison, he said that the Lord wanted him free so he could preach! As far as I know, nobody in the congregation ever calls the police on them. By the way, back in the 80's during Satanic Panic the FBI and Law Enforcement did extensive investigation of the Satanic Ritual Abuse claims and found absolutely no evidence to back them up. And there are still charlatans who are working this scam and raking in the money from books videos and donations. As for the guy who claimed to have committed sacrifices, I wish I knew where he was. There is no statute of limitations on murder.
Don’t forget James Randi, who also did a great job exposing these frauds. But the real problem, I think, is religious indoctrination, especially from a young age, because this primes people to believe all kinds of nonsense without questioning. It completely kills critical thinking when it comes to magic.
Houdini even got into a fight with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle for exposing one of his favorite spiritualists. He would rather lose a friend that allow for harmful nonsense to go unexamined.
I grew up in a religious household leaning Pentecostal, and this shit was on my tv all the time. I am deconstructing now. Thank you for talking about this. I am just opening up all the trauma I endured.
That couldn't have been easy, and likely still isn't. I hope you are able to find some support, you are not alone, there are more and more like you every day. ( attended plenty of pentecostal church as a kid, it can be so overwhelming).
@@amberrrr762 I am trying to help a friend out of a church like this right now. He literally believes he has been healed of having one leg shorter than the other, and he watched it grow longer. Weird that lots of their congregation seem to have this issue, but anyway... Please advise on what I could tell him that might help open his eyes. Your suffering does not have to be in vain, but could be used to help others.
@@EmpiricalPragmatist One leg longer is really a benefit, like if you work security at the mall, you can do your rounds, naturally. lol, but to be serious, I don't think there's anything you can say. You are underestimating the power of the drug called, "I'm on the winning team" The church is lots of people telling your friend that they are the chosen ones, only ones doing God's will. Most can't walk away from that. For each 'fact' you say to draw them out makes them feel not special, whereas the things the church says to draw them in, makes your friend feel special. I used to be really upset about it all, trying to 'save' my family from these false teachers. But, I'm at peace now, as I understand there are all different kinds of people, with all different beliefs, and it's best we all don't think alike. Walk away from your friend, find other people, find peace. Cheers!
I remember reading this book of miraculous healing written by a Penecostal preacher. The one story that stuck out to me was the one where this guy took some olive oil, went into the hospital, and annouitted the patients there. They all got up and walked out of the hospital, causing a riot. The first time I read that, I thought that was amazing! But now I doubt that the story is true because if that did happen, wouldn't it be on the news?
I was going through depression when I was 18. The preacher said I had a demon. I believed him. The whole prayer room rebuked demons out of me all night long. Then the pastor finally said, "I saw the demon leave." What they didn't know is that the theatrical lie they played out on me caused me to fall into a deeper depression. The humiliation I felt was unreal. I finally quit going to church. Today, I'm agnostic. What really gets me is that I let them do that to me. I allowed it because I was afraid of being rejected by them. That's the kind of power they wield over people.
Oh, you have no idea the extent of the criminal network. I've been researching it full time for the last year or two and haven't even scratch the surface yet.
@@HolyKoolaid That's very interesting what you say about the criminal network. Does this all tie into organised/mob crime, or I have simply misunderstood your comment?
I totally agree they should Now with that being said I'm a believer and follower of Jesus Christ and I've been healed by God with no man's interference. I've had my ex wife healed from a very high fever and a foot injury now I know firsthand God is still healing and there are true prophets but they are far and few today bc of fake Christians like these which infuriates me to no end! I've personally had my mother fooled by one of these false healers all they want is your money! And yes they will give some fake oil ,water or some cheap prayer cloth which is disgusting. I was diagnosed with a brain tumors one in my left frontal lobe and the other in my inner ear and yes I had the one in my frontal lobe surgically removed and the second one is inoperable...I also suffer from sciatica in both legs,I've had several seizures, suffered memory loss, blackouts, I was paralyzed on my entire torso ,etc etc and guess what God didn't heal me and it had nothing to do with my faith it had to do with me trusting God regardless if He heal me or not! Personally I'm so sick of these clowns and they're obviously blasphemy but God will deal with these tares in His time and timing
Doesn't make a bit of differene. There are people out there who are so brainwashed that they will believe it to their dying day no matter what you tell them for how long you tell them. Sadly, once they're on the kool aide, it's almost impossible to get them off.
The guy who lost his leg due to the complications of not healing got me mad because even he was buying into the bullshit like "I had to lose my carnal leg to let my spiritual leg heal"??
@@RazgrizXMG0079 He was rationalizing the whole insanity bc some ppl are so deeply buried in the BS, that admitting they were made suckers is a huge blow to their ego. It’s infuriating how the victims will make excuses for their exploiters.
@@TioOlavoDoBaralho I know, it's so fucking sad to see them that deep in their superstition that they'll think losing a leg is still "just part of god's plan" or whatever. That's another common thing I've heard when faith healing doesn't work
This further convinced me that it takes a special type of psychopath/sociopath to be this type of preacher, it’s one thing to scam people through means like crypto (like FTX did) or MLMs but to do something like what that girl went through is one a whole other level and I suspect it’s harder to prosecute them because of the First Amendment (especially under our theocratic Supreme Court right now).
@@RazgrizXMG0079 Yeah the "god's plan, can't blame him for everything" is the failsafe switch. These freaks know the will of god sooooo much until you question it then as humans no-one can possibly know divine will because only their god can...but the preacher sure does and will condemn you for whatever is convenient at the time.
I remember when I was very young I called several self professed "healers" who had ads in an alternative magazine to ask if they could help me with a severe sun allergy problem (as the doctors couldn't). And to my surprise they all said "No" and didn't even want to try, When I asked why, several of them explained that they could only heal conditions of psychosomatic origins, and they didn't think my problem was psychosomatic. I am still surprised they were so open and honest about it.
@@The_Masked_Deconstructionist , Orthodoxy removes the personality from the Church, and is how things have always meant to be done. When you deviate from clear instructions, this is what happens.
Right? "What's the harm in religion?" THIS! THIS IS THE HARM IN RELIGION! This is what happens when people take the word of "religious authority figures" at face value without questioning them, and allow them to do whatever they want in the name of god. Come to Uganda checkout some the pastors here who go to massive crusades in the most miserable and poverty stricken regions to dangle hope in there face.
Kids especially younger ones are pretty honest. If they feel pain they say it. The way Cerullo got that girl to pretend she was healed was evil, almost a child groomer kind of evil.
I have a childhood friend that pretends to be a healer. I haven't spoken to the dude in decades, but his nonsense gets shared with me via mutual friends from time to time. The only real victims here are the children, because they aren't capable of making informed decisions for themselves. everyone else, I say. "How'd that work out for ya, pretty good?"
Thank you for mentioning Morris Cerullo, it seems like he's not talked about enough. My sister and her friends would prank call his Helpline show and even prayed for their friend "Eddie" to stop being addicted to Taco Bell. I would also joke that Morris was begging for cheeseburgers.
Thank you for this one, this is the first time I got legitimately, angry at faith healer and I needed to see some of this. When he had that guy remove his neck brace and started, forcing him to move his neck, I was rooting for him to punch the faith healer. The fact that these guys who know they’re charlatans will blatantly risk these peoples long-term health to put on the show, they legitimately, don’t have any empathy. I almost wonder if these kinds of avenues for creating cults and scams, attract all of our society’s more clever psychopaths
My personal experience with faith healing is really dark. I have a neurological disorder and had spent 10 days in the hospital. It was just after that, when I went to church with my medications, that a woman said “don’t you think it’s all your medications that is causing you to have all these issues?” That was where it started. I was volunteering at the local LGBT community center and received a call from an uncle who’s niece had attempted to take their own life. I made a prayer for understanding and healing and someone interrupted and said “there’s nothing to understand,it’s the sin of Sodom” Things just spiraled from there with person after person believing in the “old Adam” and that any things got to the point that I really began to look at my faith and beliefs. I saw just how much shame was pushed on me just to believe what I needed to, I saw the issues it was causing me. The cost was too much. I had to let go of it and go my own way. I’m not sure where that is, but for certain all this “faith healing” has caused more pain than healing.
@@RaptureReadyforJesus-qv2ql I have ZERO patience for people who believe like you do! This is not only exactly what I was talking about, I call BS. If you ever go to the doctor, if you or your family ever gets some illness that needs treatment, sure you may pray but if that is all you do it will set you back. To say “people cannot heal” when it has been people who have found so many advancements in medicine that we are out of the dark ages, seriously? BS. Never go to the doctor, never have surgery, never get your bones set if they are broken then because “only Jesus can heal”. Absolutes are completely stupid! Lastly to say this on a post talking about the harm that these beliefs have cause only reveals your black, cold heart. You refuse to see the person, you refuse to meet them and try to provide a space. It is “believe the way I do..” that is what angers me the most. So respond all you want but with the heartless response you posted I will never listen to your f’d up message. Go away!

@@pagghr51 So true, the most they'll ever get is the ailments that come with old age other than that they're living the high life money milking off the suffering which is a full on business for them and they know it and simply don't care. They hammer in the ways of piety yet remain without conscience.
As a person in the emergency medical field, just the first made me…just..I was gasping and covering my mouth and grimacing so hard that my face hurts. I am getting further and the pain I am feeling for these people in immeasurable.
omg that first thing with the neck guy was triggering how he made him take off the brace and forced him to move it! I was legit worried for him and it looked so painful my whole body got tense!
As the uploader notes in the video, there do exist small-time faith healers who don't do it for money and sincerely believe faith healing is legitimate. They can still be dangerous though if they're telling the supposedly "healed" to eschew medical check-ups and whatnot. As for the big names like Hinn, no one can read their minds. It's possible they justify to themselves that lots of people are being "brought to God" through watching the "miracles" these charlatans purport to perform. But they have to be aware that they are engaged in tons of deception, especially ones who do blatant fakery like the "leg extension" trick shown in another video on this channel.
Maybe a few, but not too many tbh. I mean, it's entirely possible that some of them are just crazy or that they are just genuinely thinking they're helping people
My biggest issue with God is the idea that he's a father. Now, imagine talking to your father like that if you wanted to borrow $20. "Dad, I declare your goodness and thank you for imparting to me $20, in the name of your son (oh,that's me). You said in your email to me that you would give unto them that ask, and so I speak financial blessings and thank you for blessing me". He'd think you were nuts. And he'd be right. You don't plead and beg with an earthly father, so why would an invisible god ask for sycophantic nonsense? And why wouldn't he just heal his 'children' anyway? If I could heal my kids of cancer, they wouldn't have to ask - it would be done, no matter what they had done to me! The more I think about it, the more angry I get at the portrayal of god as a father, the ways he gets away with murder (literally) and also (sadly) how I was conned for decades.
Because of sin in the world . Free will extends beyond our choices . The Bible says that God never promises a life without suffering . He promise an eternity without suffering after this life though.
@@Allyourbase1990 You mean the fact that almighty god got his feelings hurt (because that is exactly what sin is - offending god) he won't cure bone cancer, AIDS or help people who really need him? Secondly, once you're dead you can't suffer!
I had no idea! People like that are not the norm in Denmark, and we, and our government, actively try to prevent this kind of damage. Bury him in a tiny room, or send him "home", where I hope we can find a way for him never to hurt people again.

Why are this people not prosecuted by the law. If people die do to them telling them that they are cured and the person dies or if they take money on fraud, why is the law not looking into this? I knew a good friend that his grandmother gave away all of her possessions and ended up with nothing. She was 80, believing that the money was going for a good cause but found out later when it was too late that it went into the preachers' pockets. He lived in a mansion, many cars and a plane while she and many like her ended up in the street.
They're not prosecuted, because unless a preacher tells someone to commit a crime or unless the preacher commits tax fraud, they can get away with just about anything because of "religious freedom." It's a really fucked up loophole, and our laws need to be fixed in order to protect vulnerable people from sharks in white collars.
These people disgust me -every one of them. But, as a survivor of childhood cancer, I can't even put into words how angry that footage of Cerullo and the little girl makes me. It's the worst kind of inhumanity. I'm glad he's dead - something I rarely say about anyone - but the fact that he lived such a comfortable life, and made it to 88, I find infuriating.

"Agnostic" is WHY you might or might not be atheist, not a category in itself about a God. It is like the old song being "Yellow" instead of "Yellow Taxi", it is missing a word. It is also why people who STILL believe are able to be agnostic. They don't know if there IS a God, but believe one must exist. THAT is an agnostic theist. MANY, but by no means a plurality, move later to agnostic atheist, but that doesn't make agnostic a middle point.
The diabetic kid one makes me so mad because I went through almost the same thing as a newly diagnosed kid. The night I got out of the hospital, my mom took me to a faith healer, and kept taking me for years. It never worked, of course. Not all, but a few basically said I needed to show faith by throwing away my insulin to be healed. This kid was lucky enough to have a pump--I didn't have that, but with a pump and cgm, they can be linked together and act like an external pancreas, and get your A1c as close to normal as possible. Even with just a cgm, I'm doing better than I ever did, and it just tracks blood sugar, constantly. But they took his pump, the tool that's as close to a new pancreas as you can get right now, and made him suffer. Once you've been diabetic, and then gotten a pump or cgm, I can't explain to you, the dread and anxiety of being without those things, suddenly. They improve our diabetes so much, and we start to feel so much better than when we had to control it manually. And not having insulin when you really really need it? I can't describe how it feels, it's pain everywhere and nausea, you start puking, it's awful. It's torture.
I don't think these people understand that our healing doesn't come from people. It comes from God. I would never let anyone tell me not to take life saving medication or to give my kids medication that can save their lives. I will pray to God for their healing. I went to a church once where they took someone's heart medication.....It was insane. God also gives us people who make these life saving treatments and medications. These fake faith healers are disgusting human beings.
Thank u so much for sharing. I can tell u that I grew up seen these people and I was a victim of these people. I am a Chaplain and work with Hospice care and with Veterans as I was a former Army Chaplain and I can tell u that it breaks my heart on how people that are looking for hope can be so easily taken advantage. I see people pass every day from kids to elderly on hospice care and I can truly tell u that not everyone gets out of their death beds. My care is to bring hope and peace, not take advantage of people in their hour of need. On again, thank u for your work.
Thank you for your service, but koolaid is helping sending others to hell, it’s good to see the false teachers out there but he seems bent on helping people lose any connection to God. Big difference 😢
Thanks for your service . I had a cool chaplain when I was in Afghanistan, granted I was atheist back then . I’m not anymore though. I couldn’t agree more that these pastors take advantage of desperate people . Jesus never charged for miracles
What bothers me as well is that you don't see enough christians calling these grifters out on their lies and crimes. They use their energy more often on what kind of bathroom people use instead of fighting these pastors that cause way more harm
Kooks don't question each other. They work on the rules of comic improvisation: don't disagree or ask questions, roll with what was said and just add your own bullshit on top.
I live in a small town in south Mississippi. A lady told me that two strangers showed up at her church one Sunday. One guy with legs. One guy in a wheelchair with a severd spine. She says the guy took 15 steps around the church. It was all i could do not to laugh in her face.
These vile hustlers make my skin crawl. I remember how James Randi busted these guys and it didn't seem to make a dent in their popularity. It's like the rational people already knew they were full of shit, and the superstitious supporters refused to accept it. Some people would rather choose deception and delusion than reality.

This stuff is what my older sister believes in she is Pentecostal and attends church like 3 times a week.. she believes her pastor can turn water into wine and walk on water, raise the dead and heal absolutely anything. I gotta give it to the church services the praise and worship is hype but apart from that I’m glad I left the faith
So so difficult to watch. And the common thread being that these victims are called failures and morally poor by these predators. Nobody deserves this, no matter how credulous, foolish or willfully ignorant. They are still victims of professional con men.
And fraud! Mustn't forget the thousands of counts of fraud. They could wind up serving sentences for evolutionary time-scales if they were convicted of all the fraud they've perpetuated over the decades.
The fact that the first man smacked that poor guy on the head and tried to move his head up and down directly after a serious surgery and didn't think twice about it. Is enough to label that man as a horrific piece of trash for life. I also wish there was a hell so scummy people like that will have a place to go and suffer forever. These snake oil salesmen are the biggest pieces of trash.
Yes, that rough manipulation of the injured man's head was horrifying--he could have died from that treatment. I wonder if the faith "healer" would have faced manslaughter charges had that happened.
That first guy with the neck brace made my heart hurt. He came for the small chance he might get chosen to be healed. Hoping for a miracle to ease his pain, but there was no response from God. In that momente he must have felt rejected by a supposedly 'loving' God. He may have even blamed himself for not having the rght amount of faith.
The spiritual larp battle deserves to be a youtube short😂 On a sader note: what the frick? I thought these faith healers were an exclusively American thing, and here they are in my own country mutilating people? Why is there no law against this?
I have been deconstructing for a while and I really feel scammed after years of struggling with religious trauma and my gender identity. I literally have been praying my wishes to be a man (I am born female) for years and it seems to get worse and they will always tell me that the devil is messing with me. And I am a mental patient also (psychosis) and again they say is the devil. I just can't fight it anymore...
There are no demons. They aren't real. They NEED to convince you you're broken so they can sell you the cure. I'm sure you've given more of yourself to the church than they ever gave to you. You deserve better.
Even if it was the devil, you shouldn't feel guilty about it. I mean, either you are correct about your gender identity or a poweful entity is controlling you against your will. My advice is to just embrace who you really are and keep improving yourself the way you can. Best wishes
There's no such thing as Satan and please embrace who you are. There is nothing wrong with you. Just because you're different doesn't mean you're evil.😊
I had a C5-C6 spine fusion and watching that Video almost made me pass out!!! That man needed to sue the pastor!!! This is too much!!!! And it keeps going! Oh my oh my!!!!
I'm a quadriplegic. A faith healer cast the demons out of me. I'm still a quadriplegic, but at least the demons are gone. Not that I believed in demons before hand, or even now, or felt any sort of change. I'm also a life long atheist and don't believe a word of their crap, but I have a relative who does. She is sure that I've been healed, and now believes that I'm lazy and won't stand up. We don't see or talk to each other much anymore.
I believe in healing, Jesus is the healer, not any man. I got to pray for a man who was paralyzed from the chest down. He said he could feel heat in his back. He did not walk that night. This was many years ago, so I don’t know how he is doing now.
I have no patience or tolerance for cult followers anymore. Too much harm has been done in the name of a "religion". We need to find a cure for "stupid".
I seriously DO NOT GET how anyone with a sane mind go to these people and expect miracles. WHY WOULD YOU HAVE TO GO TO A MAN AND PAY MONEY to receive miracles. Maybe go on your knees and pray to God for miracles. Or pray that no matter how bad ur situation is...having faith in God that He must do with your life as He please. You don't know what your path . And where God wants you to be. Everyone wants healing and miracles and to live. If I know my life is on the narrow path and my sins are forgiven cause of Repentace and my life is for Christ . Then I wouldn't be scared of dying. I would prefer the eternal life over the physical temporary life we have on earth. If my time is here, then I will let God decide if it's my time.
Thanks for exposing these creeps, charlatans, con artists, monsters!!! Talk about bottom of the barrel. Unfortunately, there’s no shortage of gullible and desperate people in the world. So if laws aren’t formed to tax these characters and hold them accountable for their grifting, there will be more coming out from under the rocks. Especially, if those in government and law are just like them.
Damn, here I am being agnostic and having a moral code, working an 8-5 job living paycheck to paycheck... Should've stayed Christian and just lied my way into a lavish lifestyle

Please do not think like that. Jesus is Real and He loves you. He came and shed His Blood so that through His Sacrifice, you may be reconciled with the Lord God. These are false prophets and teachers and the Bible warned about them. They only hide in the church but are wolves in sheep's clothing. There is indeed a special place in the depths of hell for them, because they are responsible for the fall and misery of many innocent and mislead souls. Thank you, and God bless.
