Younger generations won’t give Faith the respect she deserves. They don’t know her full back story and hard work. I love them both. I’m a HUGE Carrie Underwood fan. Seen her in concert. Carrie said Faith was one of her country influences.
Tim has always made it clear that he adores his wife and if I saw someone grab my husband , the reaction would be the same..he is not up there to do a lap dance..they are "the " country couple who have manged to keep it together in the insane business of show business..as for Barbra bringing it up- why ..should she feel differently..as for the camera man..I know Faiths record- a friend of mine went to an awards show ans she does (did) joke around..really-anyone who can say that she is that petty and hasn't heard of selective reporting-and believes Faith meant what she said can go to hell-where is your common sense...has she ever given reason to believe otherwise..I can only imagine how painful that must have been- she needs to block out the idiots of the world and focus on those who love her-cause there are many of us!

I absolutely ADORE Faith. She's so down-to-earth, kind hearted, caring, silly beautiful both inside and out and lovely in every sense of the word. Faith is definitely one of a kind. I was at that infamous concert in Lafayette. Faith had EVERY right to stick up for her husband. No one...NO ONE has the right to touch anyone else. There are NO excuses. I am PROUD to be a Faith Hill Fanatic. I'd be devastated if Faith never performed again. There is NO ONE like Faith and there never will be again.

You're right it was. I'm guess that is an example of someone who had a high level of professionalism and courtesy at one time, but has let herself become somewhat corrupted by her friends and associations or at least lowered her common decency standards.
Tim and his drunk texting happened a long time ago. he stopped drinking 3 years ago. his reason for stopping was because she had asked him what did he want his girls to remember about him. he never drank around them. she knew he was a drinker when they married. he has said Faith has put up with a lot from me . she said recently she loves this man and will stay with him forever. she feels like she lives an enchanted life.
what Barbara said was inappropriate. I can see women going crazy and hugging him and wanting a kiss on the cheek,but to man handle him like they did,his privates,that is very wrong.that is just disrespectful to him as well as to her. but he has said it has happened more often but he still gets into the audience. it is not because he wants it to happen,if he stopped what would that do to the fans who do respect what he does for a living. If Gracie knew,she would expect her Mom to do something.
@prsjoe Correct me if I'm wrong, but that song is a 3/4. It's relatively uncommon in modern mainstream songs today, but for anyone that would be hired for a tour band, it should be a rudamentary skill. Faith's rythym of her vocals is slightly different here than on the record and that's probably why it sounds funny to people. The band did fine.
I agree but it didn’t begin that way. When Barbara Walters created the show it was good; open discussions on an array of subjects from all points of view. Walters didn’t like anyone trying to dominate their opinion on to others. Whoopie and Joy are horrid and have turned the show into a political hot spot where they can cram their far left agenda way of thinking down everyone’s throat and bully anyone who has a different opinion. Frankly, I don’t understand how the show has continued to survive. I believe a large portion of their audience doesn’t necessarily agree with them but enjoy watching the drama that unfolds. I don’t enjoy any of that.
Barbara is someone I don't miss being in the public eye. She was absolutely awful with what she did. She's just so unnecessary with everything. Very unprofessional and very insensitive.
@ILuvCaroline , I have 2 adult girls and 6 grandkids. are you a specialist when it comes to kids. I have plenty of experience with kids. If you were on stage you have no idea how you would handle the situation. She said at that moment that is all she could think of at that time. I am sure kids hear a lot worse at home. her saying the word balls is not a big deal.
Look people have crazy sense of humor I have a crazy sense of humor and have gotten in trouble but just because you see it on youtube that way dont mean that there wasn't something before that or after.

Does anyone else wonder why these people always interview movie stars and singers, and political figures? Why not interview some Americans who are not so rich. None of us relate to these women.
@ILuvCaroline there was nothing wrong with what she did,and there are worse words said in the audience that are worse than what she said. Kids are use to a lot worse said at school and in playgrounds.
I don’t think what Whoopi said had any relevance at all. This is not about Faith Hill having a good life and people being jealous about that. Whoopi missed the mark entirely. This is about Carrie Underwood being disrespected by another artist that should have known better. I am a huge fan of Faith Hill. She’s one of my favorite singers of all time, but I wish she would have shown more humility here instead of trying to defend herself. If she has a crazy sense of humor, she should own that and apologize for understanding how her actions looked. It totally did look disrespectful to Carrie Underwood because joking or not, Carrie actually DID win. Carrie’s win was NOT a joke and being genuinely happy for colleagues matters... at the time it IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING. If Faith had made that “What”? face in an interview years later or something, I could see it as a bad joke but not IN THE MOMENT IT WAS HAPPENING. The cameraman totally captured Faith’s real reaction to her hearing that Carrie won and I think that was hard for her to acknowledge. No wonder she wanted to retire. I hope she has been able to grow from this moment. Some things just shouldn’t be joked about and this was obviously one of them.
