Thanks for the re-upload brother🤘 B-Side of the same album. This is hands down my favorite FNM song, followed by The Real Thing and Chinese Arithmetic. Greatest band of all time! I understand your point with Cuckoo, not appealing to everyone, I love the whole album.

The production of the vocals is great. Way multitracked and panned all over which is cool from a production stand point. He does all his own recording too which proves his prowess as a singer.

Big difference between this song and Cuckoo for Caca vocals is that Mike is inhabiting a character in Cuckoo and vocals do very much suit that character.

Hi David! Here as Promised.👀Still not a fan but....👍Agree the vocal is much better. 8.4? Being better than the last on vocal only made it somewhat better for me.

David - I think you’d appreciate Cuckoo more of your listened to the entire King for a Day album. There is so much variety on that album. He goes from a maniacal cuckoo to a smooth as silk lounge singer on ‘Evidence.’ As a singer on KFAD, Patton is at the height of his ability to establish a pure ‘round’ tone with full mastery of his palate of sounds. Absolute Zero is better than Cuckoo on their own, but it didn’t make it to the actual album. It’s a mid-level B-side, IMO.
