@Genious. Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle) is super great to watch too. I saw him play twice at two different shows for 1,100 people with APC. Amazing drummer.

Mikes top toms are so high and flat. I like flat. His ambidextrous drumming style has influenced me greatly. It has helped my drumming greatly. 😂😂😂

Ar first I thought it was just the sweat running down his cheek, but it keeps going! Wow, just wow. Mike was having a moment, and I could almost feel his pain. Most epic, intense vocal performance I've ever seen and heard.

@@robc9496This is way after the fact… almost 30 years since the show & a year since you commented about it; BUT, that wasn’t sweat. It definitely welled up & came from his eye. Might not have been cuz he was getting emotional as was suggested, but it wasn’t sweat. Probably just “dry-eye” that turned into wet-eye lol. Anyway, this is 100% my favorite live version of KFAD I’ve ever seen bar none. Them boys were humming on all cylinders for this show.

@@jolemite2639you know that KFAD is about the car crash he was in while writing the album right? He’s talked about how he felt he might die, and the accident messed his back up for a while. “Don’t let me die with that silly look in my eyes… this is the best party that I’ve ever been to”, it’s about reflecting on your life in those last moments. There’s good reason why the performance of that song feels intense. There’s also the song about Kurt Cobain’s death on that album (Star AD). He shrugs off his lyrics a lot of the time, but Bill’s talked about reading them back years later and realising how poignant and relevant they were to things they were all going through at the time. And in person he is super gentle and humble. He said on a podcast recently that his stage persona is where he processes his demons (having seen him live across the years I believe it!) and maybe that’s why he suffered so much with his health in lockdown. It’s good to see him back in good form. I’ve got Bungle tickets for this summer and I’m very much looking forward to us all being back in a room together again! It’s been a looooong wait to get Bungle back to the UK…
