I was looking for a Sunny Side Up to partner Red Velvet's in my "Songs that share titles" playlist. The first two I tried were far too dull but Faith No More did not disappoint. ru-vid.com/group/PLwCr9cqVvxlbSD7m_m5WhW_sB02BzSuC_
In 40 years, this is going to be me at my retirement home, still rocking out to Faith No More. I'll have another one of those green acid doses, please.
Hmm... I don't know, I loved Faith No More 25 years ago but isn't this song incredibly boring, or what?! To be honest, practically everything I heard by Patton since then was incredibly boring.
shove the leper Roddy plays an integral part. Try listening and imaging FNM most famous songs without his input. Doesn't quite work. They have their 'own' sound.
I fucking love that they didn't sell out and put out 10 crappy albums to make a buck. They waited, worked on their craft, waited... and gave us SOL INVICTUS! Words don't do the respect I have for them justice. Buy this album you fuckers, support the band!!
+Bird Dog It's like FNM are a bunch of time travelers if you listen to the albums King For a Day or Album of the year they sound fresh as if they were released this past Tuesday. With the test of time you realize that what they created was a Masterpiece
***** you are most likely correct. I met these guys just before The Real Thing got big. Already, I could tell that Jim Martin didn't like Patton and no one could blame him, as Patton is a prick. He was shitty to everyone at the venue. We were trying to bend over backward for him. I believe that his participation in FNM is more to support his other projects, which are mostly an acquired taste, and his label. Still, I will buy everything FMN, as well as, Mr Bungle put out. And it is Patton's talent that is the driving force behind both bands. It is a trap that you fall into, when you can't separate the art from the artist.
The best video hands down in a decade! FNM, is always categorized as a one hit wonder, this is by people who don't know music. They make the RHCP, look pop and mainstream. FNM, deserves credit as being one of the most influential bands in the last 30 years~
one hit wonder?! why, when, how!? "The Real Thing" is a full hit wonder as far as I'm concerned! ;) Even "King for a Day Fool for a life time" so underrated has a handful of great songs! Man, I cannot name one single FNM album that doe snot contain at least 5 great songs! Epic, Easy and I Started a Joke are not by far my favorite FNM songs to start with... if that is what they call a "one hit wonder"! The last two are superb covers though! ;)
Huge fan of FNM for decades. This album was everything I hoped it would be. Don't think I have liked every song so much on an album since Angel Dust, and this song is one of my favourites! There is just simply no weak song of the ten, only wish they had put 12-14 songs - we know they had over 20 to choose from. Video is deliciously FNM. You guys...just...ROCK.
Letra de Sunny Side Up - Faith No More I'll be your leprechaun Shamrock or lucky charm (Whoa, yeah) Tap-dancing all alone (It's ok) Dip into the sugar bowl (Whoa, yeah) Sunny side up Sunny side up Such a lovely way to start the day Sunny side up Sunny side up Not the only way to fry an egg Sunny side up Sunny side up I am just a grain of sand on your beach With all of my heart All of my Heart A drop of rain through your hands Rainbows will bend for me Curvy Honey bees will sting for me Stingin', stingin' Sunny side up Sunny side up Such a lovely way to start the day Sunny side up Sunny side up Dance the night away like Fred Astaire Come on ride my wave Ride it all the way (Sunny side up) 'Til the ocean ends (Sunny side up) I'll see you there (Sunny side up)
I can’t find any thing I don’t like from faith no more or any of other Patton projects. Thank you for existing. my best friend and I saw you guys in Boston, he passed away this year so in addition you bring me memories of one of the best people I ever knew
The whole album is fantastic. All their albums are. They changed, of course. We all do. I love AC/DC, but I'm satisfied with their old stuff. I'm not going to buy anything AC/DC released in the last 15 years. We had that already on their previous albums. Bands tend to change or put out stuff that's different. Even Motörhead did. And with Faith no More, it has always been their experimenting with different styles. And I love their feeling for melodies. That's what makes them special. Some people say they are becoming softer. Well, they always had a soft side. If I want agression and speed I will listen to Slayer or whatever. Faith no more is one of my Top 10 bands. And I am mostly into punk, thrash and older stuff.
1.Last cup of sorrow 2 Everyrhings Ruined 3 Sunny Side Up. 4. Stripsearch. 5. Midlife Crisis. Shame the King For A Day videos were a bit bland. Oh i forgot I Started A Joke. Thats a good video too.
I read a lot of people saying this was a lesser track. Paired with the video, it is a superior feat. I think it is very substantial. It's about a place in time and an essence of life that can only be appreciated in one particular way - but you have to choose. And then once you choose, live with that decision and hope you feel good about it. I didn't like this song the first time I heard it, but goddamn, it grew on me and made a relevance in my life I hadn't realized. Faith No More always takes some to undo the mind, and when it happens it hits hard. Great stuff, guys. I hope the next one hits hard, I hope there is a next one.
La mia canzone preferita di Sol Invictus... Grazie per aver fatto il video Michele... e...grazie per Sol Invictus, vi voglio bene ragazzi! Ora ....un album all'anno non sarebbe male! dovete recuperare!
This is brain confusingly amazing! Probably the best album to come out of 2015, how on earth did you all not lose your shit during the time off??? I know Patton has projects coming out of his arse, but it seems like FNM never stopped! Thank you so much for doing another round, and if you're up for it we'll all be there for the next! You may need to buy some more flowers though.
