@BryceCrawfordPodcast As a Bible professor, I am glad Bryce posted this accurately Biblical and greatly-needed discussion of why BELIEVING in Jesus Christ---without adding your good WORKS!!!---is the only way to receive pardon from the penalty of sin and to receive the FREE GIFT of eternal life!! This is an EXCELLENT video podcast!! In support of Bryce's video, I'd like to simply quote and explain some Bible passages that show that Bryce is exactly correct that eternal justification is by FAITH in the person of Jesus Christ, not by WORKS: Jesus Christ said, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES IN HIM shall not perish, but have eternal life.” -John 3:16 Jesus Christ “… was delivered over because of our transgressions, and was raised because of our justification.” -Romans 4:25 “For the wages of sin is death, but the FREE GIFT of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” -Romans 6:23 “For by grace you have been saved through FAITH, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” -Ephesians 2:8-9 Jesus Christ and His Apostles clearly taught in the Bible that eternal life is only available to those who believe in Him without adding their own deeds: “Therefore they said to Him, ‘What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?’ Jesus answered and said to them, ‘This is the work of God, that you BELIEVE in Him whom He has sent.’” -John 6:28-29 Jesus said: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who BELIEVES in Me has everlasting life..” - John 6:47 “For we maintain that a man is justified by FAITH APART FROM WORKS of the Law.” -Romans 3:28 “But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away.” -Isaiah 64:6 “For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does Scripture say? ‘Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.’ Now to the one who works, his wage is not credited as a favor but as what is due. But to the one WHO DOES NOT WORK, BUT BELIEVES IN HIM who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness, just as David speaks of the blessing on the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works.” -Romans 4:2-6 Receiving eternal life does not require the works of following Jesus over time. Instead, Jesus taught that once a person believes in Him for eternal life, one has permanently passed from death into eternal life that can never be lost. “…he who hears My word and BELIEVES in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but HAS PASSED from death into life.” -John 5:24 ---NOTICE THIS!! The original New Testament Greek verb translated in English as “has passed” is μεταβεβηκεν which is in the perfect tense active indicative (third person singular-see biblehub.com/lexicon/john/5-24.htm). The perfect verb tense in NT Greek connotes a one time action with continuing results. “If you remember that the meaning of the word perfect is complete, then you can remember that the perfect tense has to do with completed action. But the perfect tense is a primary tense because it emphasizes the present, or ongoing result of a completed action.” The third person singular makes clear that the person believing in Jesus is the personal recipient of the one time action with continuing results. ---Thus Jesus is making clear that the person who “BELIEVES in Him” as a ONE TIME ACTION is the recipient of the continuing result of having “passed from death into life.” This means that at the moment we place our BELIEF in JESUS CHRIST for forgiveness of our sins to receive the FREE GIFT of ETERNAL LIFE, we can NEVER lose our salvation. ETERNAL LIFE lasts forever! In fact, the Bible clearly teaches that adding your own payment of good WORKS to Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for us is actually rejecting God’s offer of the FREE GIFT of forgiveness and eternal life. What you pay for is not really a gift. We must trust ONLY in Jesus Christ’s perfect sacrifice for us. “For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does Scripture say? ‘Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.’ Now to the one who works, his wage is not credited as a favor but as what is due. But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness, just as David speaks of the blessing on the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works.” -Romans 4:2-6 “But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace.” -Romans 11:6 In the New Testament book of Galatians, the Apostle Paul made it clear that adding works to faith for eternal justification and eternal life is a DIFFERENT “gospel” which is NOT really “good news” (the literal meaning of “gospel” is "good news"). “…a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by FAITH in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified. … I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” -Galatians 2:15-16, 21 When the Galatians started following a false teacher who urged them to add works to their faith, the Apostle Paul condemned that teaching as a “different gospel, which is not another.”: “I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.” -Galatians 1:6-9 So the free gift of eternal life with forgiveness of all our personal sins is only available to us 100% on the basis of what Jesus Christ did for us, NOT because of anything we do for Him. We must simply BELIEVE in Jesus Christ alone for pardon for all our sin. “For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and BELIEVES in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.” -John 6:40 “The one who BELIEVES in him is not condemned. The one who does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.” -John 3:18 “NOT BY WORKS of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.” --Titus 3:5 Thank you, Bryce, for your fantastic ministry captured both in podcasts and in sharing the love of Jesus with others wherever you go!. Faith and works go hand and hand. What people often misconstrued because they don’t study there word, is that every time works are spoken of it’s referring to mosaic law (the 600 something Jewish laws). We are not justified by works of the law, non are righteous and all stumble. If we stumble at one point of the law we are guilty of all of it. We were saved to carry out the good works of Christ! Advance the kingdom and be a beacon of light! Jesus says to let your light shine before others, what do you think he’s speaking about

Our actions do reflect whether we are believers and disciples of Christ. Jesus died for our sins, but that doesn’t give us a blank check to act immorally and then get whisked up.

This is why the body of christ still haven't become what we would have. So many still are on about tradition, and acting like slaves and sinners. Once we accept Jesus, through faith we are saved and then try not to sin, if you do. Repent. Then after repent, we are again righteous through christ infront of God. The blood wash us again and again till we are able to walk on our own, even after that the blood will still wash you (doesn't mean we should take this to advantage and do sin, it'll show that we don't want Gods live but just want his kindness so we can be like Satan, who do all this things because God is waiting till the day which he is going to get his authority from this world removed) . Righteous infront of God means we're 100% righteous. So we've to go to face father with boldness, not like a slave or servent like or like a begger. We need to accept his love and love him like he wants us to. Only through this we can grow into the maturity and the fullfillness of christ and to be a worthy body to the head Christ Jesus. Faiyhe saves, work shows that our faith is real, it has to be from faith, if we live someone we'll do what they say. Simple, and if we don't do, they'll still love us, but that shows we don't live them. This is the things, Jesus live us, so if we live him back we've to show through obeying him. God bless you my brother in christ. as you said christanity was not religion of moral no,christianity was religion of faith in christ and then morality was come,which i do the good behaviour through his grace through him, not from me so the two pillars in christanity was: frist faith in christ then through him the morality came.

Referring to teaching/stmt at 9:18-22 “Abraham our Father in Faith” was on earth before Jesus’ incarnation and so would not be talking to him….mixing up the Son with the Father…..like your enthusiasm….but one is nit likely received into God’s kingdom in Heaven without living out the Word

Romans 10:9 if thou shalt confess with your mouth and believe in thy HEART that God has raised him from the dead you will be saved. For with the HEART man believes unto righteousness. It's more than just an intellectual decision. Philipians 1:6 he that began a good work in you will perform it until the day of redemption. John Chapter 15 Jesus is the vine and the Father is the vine dresser and we are the branches and any branch that doesn't bare fruit is withered and thrown into the fire. Verse 16 you did not choose me, but I choose you and appointed you that you should go out and bear fruit and that your fruit remain. The meaning behind this is if you have truly believed in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, there will be evidence, and it will be clearly visible.
