The Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park (Collier County, Florida) is an amazing place. It is truly Old Florida, with a varied wildlife population. These videos were obtained using 2 trail cameras: Browning Recon Force Advantage (has the date and time stamps) and the Bushnell Trophy Cam HD (date & time stamp not activated). I hope you enjoy the videos and, if you get the chance, visit Fakahatchee.

Great video Ursula, thank you for sharing, we live off of SR29, south of the Alley, our property is mapped as part of the Fakahatchee Strand. We are fortunate enough to see Panthers, bobcats, black bears, deer, gators and all other wonderful critters that live in our area, they regularly pass through our high ground area. I know Jay Staton, Mark Lotz any many others associated with the Fakahatchee. Check out Florida Panther chasing deer on RU-vid, I think you’ll enjoy it. It’s great hearing from another admirer that love our wildlife area.

Thank you for your kind comment. I watched your video; you live in an amazing place. I love Fakahatchee…that is such an amazing place. Sadly we are no longer allowed to have trail cameras in there. I know Jay,& he is an amazing photographer. Thanks again.

@@ursuladubrick4434 I’m sorry to hear that you’re not allowed to document the sightings off of Jane Scenic anymore. I think that was a bad decision by someone. I’m sure your videos attracted new supporters for the Strand. I still support FOF and I appreciate all the people that dedicate their time preserving it but I haven’t been very pleased with some of the decisions over the last few years. I will always love and support the Fakahatchee and especially the wonderful wildlife that live here.

This is just amazing Ursula; so many animals! And the video quality and color is great. I enjoyed this one most of all I have seen so far....the rain, and a hawk pops up, and the running turkeys! What a hoot; just like velociraptors!
