Do you have the original back spacer from the grivory model? I'm looking for the hardware so I can use a og goat back spacer on my Titanium model. Thanks
I ordered a d2 g10 ad20.5 for $28 just to try out the lock and if i like it I'll get a real one. That way I don't have to regret a huge purchase in the real one if I don't like it.
if anyone reads this, I got impatient waiting for the fake to ship from china so I just bought a real one from dlt, holy smokes its definitely worth it!
Interesting I couldn’t get any of my parts to fit together from my authentic ad20.5 and my clone. I wanted to use the blue ano titanium scales from the clone with my authentic ad20.5 but the pivot from the clone did not fit through the hole in the authentic blade and the screws and other parts weren’t compatible either. My clone had really poor action in comparison to the real one because the spring that came in the clone was way to weak or shorter than the authentic spring. And the lockbar in the clone rattles about because it’s thinner than the lockbar on the authentic one
@@steeladdiction9896 how do you know its different factories? I think they're made by the same manufacture and ship them to china to be sold at a lesser price using chinese tariffs.
The handle scales are made of titanium, the lock mechanism from stainless steel… There is no difference in handle quality btw the original and clone at this price point. The blade steel and heat treatment are different for sure… but in 40+ $ price for clone - the steel is real d2 with not worst treatment… the point is - why the price of original is not let’s say twice the price of the clone, but much much more ???
So you'd rather throw away a genuine blade? Huh... "if you cant buy the real one then dont get it" the problem with that statement is he can and has 2 of them clearly. Let's be clear since your the judge of what's ok? Clone is NOT what he has do you know the difference? No one should have a problem with a clone but a fake is very questionable. Since your the judge of what people can have please be clear otherwise us simpletons get confused 🖕
@@jameshitch5041 why did he have a real blade without any handles or hardware to begin with? So rather supporting the company who made the real deal you rather support a company who’s making cheap clones.
@@defectedred8838 😠Oh, for the love of God! I'm not going to waste much time with this. I believe he spent all the time he needs explaining the knife situation to you for the life me I just don't get your problem with this. He clearly has some really nice authentic knives and because he's using scales from a clone it's a problem for you? so what are acceptable scales he can use then without you having issues? GOAT scales okay with you?😡 He's NOT nor am I encouraging anyone buying it from China. What concerns me more than anything is why you consistently use the term clone. What don't you get? It's NOT a clone at all! It's an illegal FAKE copy not a clone. Stop with the damn complaining and crying learn what your argument is a move along this is just stupid 🤬
@@defectedred8838 Or, you can use some logic and decide if you want the one with the 500% markup, or the one without. You literally just watched a video of the parts being interchanged and functioning perfectly, and somehow you decided to be mad at the people selling it to you for so much cheaper. I'd have to imagine, since your flag waving, rah-rah patriotism is on full display then you're a fan of capitalism. You're a bad capitalist if you willingly choose to choose to pay 5x more for a product. I bet that really rustled your toddler level critical thinking abilities. Regurgitating talking points isn't the same as having an educated opinion...
