I think the reason why this happens, as for any other physical activity or sport, is because our mind understands what's happening when we watch a match, soccer, basket, fights... so we think we can replicate it. For instance, if we see Michio Kaku writing equations, we (people without the proper education) know that we can't replicate it because we don't understand what is happening there. But for sports or martial arts it's different: we can visualize ourselves doing it well. The reality though, is that there's tons of technique, training, and skills that we ignore. Simply put: everybody think they can fight till they got punched in the face for the first time.
@@92mkdObservational Learning is honestly the only reason Imma get far in life lmao. I hate exerting myself so I just watch someone do it and then replicate it over and over. But sometimes even with OL you still gotta work on yourself. Especially when it comes to fighting.
@@92mkd "for a select few it works". Absolutely. I am a snowboarding instructor and sometimes I have clients who don't need explanations, they see and they do. Of course I explain why it happens when you do this or that, but the thing is that they can do it without previous explanations. Especially for advanced levels, observational learning is less rare, and is a great tool.
Along with that its engrained in the human mind as pure instinct to associate fighting capabilities with self worth, no man who feels like he couldnt beat anybody in a fight has any amount of self worth. So people tend to think they can fight when they truly cant because they dont want to think they have low self worth.
People running around messing with people in public and sticking a camera in their face while saying "don't touch me" GOT TO BE peak clown-world or else i'm gonna have to move to the forest or something. Unbelievable.
I am former Marine, and Army medic. I've trained in the marine corps martial arts program, took a few boxing and bjj classes... and I KNOW most UFC fighters would clean my clock in round 1.... yet I see these out of shape trolls thinking they can take them? This has to be for clout...I mean seriously...what a joke
Yep during combatives in army bct we were told "we're teaching you just enough to get your ass kicked" 😂 Even in the police academy we were told "you probably wont learn enough to win a lot of fights, but all youve gotta do is hold out till backup arrives"
That guy walking around messing with people and hiding behind his bodyguard? Yeah. It's a matter of time before they run into an unassuming guy who beats them both down. There is always someone way badder.
I'm 6'5 and 270lbs. Also I used to be a professional bodyguard and I will never take this crap from anyone especially when they have a so called bodyguard with them because it will not end very well for either of them.
Regarding the influencer: I'm not one to immediately go for people's masculinity, but starting shit abd then hiding behind your boyfriend is a girl move, and girl move doesn't mean "mature woman."
Mate I'm 31 now and aince I was 19 to 25 I trained and fought in MMA but would never get in a fight in streets. So much risk for no reward. Just doesn't make sense
the thing ive noticed about good fighters is they dont see themselves nearly as effective as they really are. they see themselves losing most fights and that drives them to win. as opposed to normal people thinking they could win against trained fighters
For most guys they build up a picture in their head about "what if" situations in their head. They often are only brave in numbers and on their own its all the picture they have build up in their head. Actual athletes who train and compete realise the amount of work you have to put into just to get a decent level with the fundamentals of the sport or the conditioning. Average Joe feels he can get off the sofa and put in a decent performance then gasses after a few minutes.
A lot of these guys who are bigger than the guys they are trying to pick fights with hear the statement that "weight classes exist for a reason" and think, "yeah I'm bigger I can take him!" Not realizing that statement usually assumes at least a comparable level of skill.
I honestly never understood the lack of self-control it takes someone to start throwing blows. I have thought about it this for real-life situations that could have escalated and I never threw any punches. It would probably take defending my wife and kids to actually throw down.
Same, I'm 41 and from memory I think I've thrown 2 punches in anger in my entire life, both when drunk. I agree the only way I'm getting violent is if me or my own are in imminent danger and that's the only way out.
it still amazes me how pro boxers look like they know the hit is coming and dodges it with such an ease, so interested to know what they routine is like or how you get to that level.
@6:35 I love Volodymyr the mad Ukrainian he is so funny with his sketches, he even did Eddie Hall (very clever and very funny). Great video....loved it.
How is the first one a fake tough guy when he had the balls to get into a ring with a trained fighter. Makes no sense. He is obviously not trained or in great shape but he still got in.
Confidence is quiet, insecurities are loud. Someone puffing their chest out throwing a hissy fit and all the verbals are actually scared. What they're really saying is : keep away from me. My rescue dog does the same when shes out. She barks at other dogs no where near her. Its fear, not dominance. Its quite likely, loud fearful people have found themselves in an uncomfortable, unforgettable, submissive position in the past.
I thought the pale guy was a ninja. That tanned guy is way too tanned to be a ninja. Ninjas are supposed to work out of the shadows. no sunlight= no tan. Gotta be a fake ninja.
martial artists being pissed and shit talking, getting high off going all out on some guy who isnt taking the fight seriously and has no martial arts experience will always be such a funny behavior to witness
The whole “height & weight” weirdos were just annoying. Nobody cares how intimidating frog man sounds, and nobody cares who that other nightmare guy is 🤦🏻♂️
That first clip... Dude really got in the ring with a man who is ranked the 2nd best active flyweight boxer. How exactly did he think it was going to go?
The second part is even better he is just dancing around him, doing small punches just to show him what could he be hitting and dodging and retaliating perfectly
Wimpy boy with the bodyguards is making a crucial mistake, all it's going to take is a big enough crowd to distract those bodyguards and wimpy boy will have nowhere to hide when someone teaches him about respect....he just hasn't been unfortunate to find himself in this situation.....yet!
Thank you for all you do!!! It's really sad that the brat with the bodyguard has a following. He'll be the male version of the "cat lady" at some point.....
Head gear wouldn’t make a difference in the boxer’s case , he didn’t even have it fastened. Headgear only helps with cuts and bleeding everywhere. The muscle man clearly needed his ego checked.
Bad enough that the first guy got into the ring with a pro while having little to no experience but why the hell wouldn't you tie your hair back if it's long enough to block your vision?
I'll give the prankster all the credit in the world. If him and his bodyguards pull that prank in one of these cities for example (Chicago, Little Rock, Memphis, Gary or New Orleans)
I practice muai thai, and i think its hilarious when normal guys act tough when they arent amd they get their arses kicked theres a saying those that get in your face all the time saying they can kick your ass usually cant but the ones who are kind and not overconfident are the one that can drop people cause they dont let overconfidence get in the way and are more focused
at the 10 minute mark and i noticed that kid messes with very small people. I would like to see him try this on Grape St. L.A. His body guards won't go into that hood. Kid is a buster.
3:31 if you are proving a point dont punch to the face. Strikes to the body makes your opponent look into his own soul and when he folds everyone watching will know he quit but most importantly HE will know he lost. The wisdom of Mike Tyson is pure gold.
I freaking train Kickboxing and BJJ, and I've done Krav Maga and Tae Kwon Do. I would never just challenge someone to a fight, especially if they were a pro fighter.
