Fake Category 8 Ethernet Cable [2024] 

Fake category 8 (Cat 8) cables are being sold online worldwide, i tested one of them and wanted to share my discovery with you.
I purchased the cable from SHEIN website, in Belgium.
30 AWG was the cable rating and had very thin stranded wires.
The standard thickness for Category 8 ethernet cable is 22-24 AWG. So this is a fake Cat 8 cable, and won’t offer Cat 8 specs. Share if you agree.
