@@RyqeLee No its a good thing to have proper grammar but it makes you an annoying shit to correct every little thing someone says. You knew damn well what this guy meant to say and still felt the need to show off your grammar skills.
@@somethingwithat5787 Never know when someone couldn't afford the proper education. Not everyone has been afforded the same type of privileges others have when it comes to proper schooling. Instead of immediately judging someone for simply correcting someone's spelling/grammar mistakes, ask them how they meant it. Thank you, have a nice day. :)
So true and I’ll add that they are very very fucked up and I keep my distance from people like that! Def some mental problems going into a recruitment office asking for money! That balls on this one!
I’m a navy veteran and I probably would’ve been like, “you trying to travel colonel? Cool, sign this paper work, take this test, and we can get you on a plane going to Chicago to a place called Great Mistakes. After 9 weeks there, plus whatever school they send you to, you can travel wherever the US Navy needs you. Glad you stopped by colonel.”
On average they only make about 85K a year. But then they get housing allotments, clothing allotments, free health care, at O6 you can get a car you don't need a voucher. For some reason this lunatic thought she was going to get him to cut her a check. And then giver her a rank insignia too.
@@danielmcgillis270 You just pulled those numbers out of your ass. O-6s are usually have been in for 15+ years (most over 20) @ roughly 11k a month (according to the Army pay scale). 11k x 12 months is 132k a year, just in base pay alone, not including added bonuses. If youre going to spit out numbers, at least give accurate ones.
Krista P I'm a space shuttle door Gunner in the space Force! I'm deployed on Mars fighting aliens! I need money to get shots for alien herpies that I got from those alien bar girls!!
I don't know shit about shit but that stuck out to me too. Like if you're a real colonel wouldn't you just go in there and tell everyone what to do not ask for shit? Like this is what I need make it happen and get me some coffee.
@@caseyaylward8853 Well you would but not with no fuckin rank on like her. If she had the rank real or not these dudes would be at attention faster than you can say "oh shit"
Most Definitely but if they did find out if she was on Drugs in a Second they will have her Arse on the floor in a Second with there foot up her Damm Arse no bloody question Asked in a scout camp you can get away with it but where she is now I hate to see what happens later because in some countries they take these things very seriously!?
Yeah, but they’re stupid enough to 1. Wear military dress in public which draws a lot attention 2. Not smart enough to take 5-10 minutes reading dress code regulations on the internet to at least look like a good fake.
Gary Williams Well IF that were the case then I emphatically disagree with you & she deserves full help and support from the military. Although I doubt that’s the case.
The moment money exchanges, thats when the legal action will/can/should commence. Just wearing the uniform; yeah... jaywalking. Making a profit through fraud... thats monster. I personally like the videos when people are calling people out for stolen valor for wearing Jungle BDU and black boots pass the 2006 time frame. Someone tried calling me for my jungle gortex extreme cold weather issue. jungle print was dcom in 2006 for ACU. Army side... navy, I want to say 2008... fuck the navy. sry...
@Johnny Sevenfold yes like you do realize what you are doing is a crime very calmly and then explain if they don’t correct it you will calmly call the police
@@GeminiKnight76 that doesn't matter one bit, any officer has their uniform pressed no matter if it's their combat uniform or A's. I had to iron my clothes everyday when I was in the army, the only exceptions are your PT clothes. You iron your BDUs every day. I could normally get my BTUs out about 40 - 45 degrees horizontal at least before they folded over, that's how stiff they were.
No...I'd say this is the worst kind; most simply pretend to get praise at ceremonies etc. She is actually trying to get money...that's the worst kind of person/stolen valor trash.
My mom was a surgical nurse near the Front in France during WWII. When kids tried to razz me, they would say, your mama wears army boots. And I would say “Hell yeah, yes she did.” Only time I could swear. lol
OnAComeUpChea before you call that person a bitch, when you speak to enlisted you call them by rank, and when it’s officers you say sir or ma’am. Military would understand
@@ardshielcomplex8917 I’m currently on leave rn and pretending to be a civilian why anyone would pretend to be a sailor or any other uniform service member is beyond me 😂
As a former Recruiter and former Recruiting Station Commander, the amount of "characters" that come into the office is craaaazy! I'm not surprised at all by this lady.
That's crazy! I've seen y'all get harrassed while recruiting, I didn't think people would actually go inside the recruitment office and act a fool! LOL
You want crazy? I'm a retired E-8 and was trying to get into a RTU a few years after I retired. It didn't happen. I guess I was missing being in the military. Today I am a volunteer at my local VA Hospital, helping out hospitalized veterans.
The tennis shoes excuse was the best one for me. The gentlemen in the background could barely hold it together. I’m glad this came up in my recommended.
@@jvolstad Or maybe do like that treasonous orange stain and promote & let off another seal for war crimes like he did that murderer who assinated those unarmed women & children in Iraq 🤷🏽♂️
I’m a Vet and the minute she said “ yes sir” I knew she wasn’t a Colonel. Also you can only get advanced pay from a financial building. And no Colonel would ever be out of uniform. She could’ve been arrested. They were nice letting her go.
@ that’s cool man, I’m currently in the Army but not for long anymore because my mental got the best of me unfortunately. It’s hard having my career ripped outta my hands like this but life goes on
Watching this I was picturing in my head what would have actually happened if a Colonel showed up to a recruiting station completely unannounced. Everyone in that station would be at attention, wondering what they did, and how much their lives are going to suck for the next month because of something they forgot about.
@@seankrake4776 i mean... there's Sir the formal military address and sir the polite honorific even civilians get. like cops call even crack heads sir until provoked... it may not be standard procedure but,,,, i'm not gonna turn my nose up at politeness....
@@asherael that’s what I’m saying. It’s not too far out of the realm of plausibility that a high ranking military member eccentrically refers to everyone as sir or ma’am. Most of us didn’t like it, but it’s not impossible.
“I can’t walk far distances in the boots.” That’s what they’re engineered for. They aren’t going to give you shoes that aren’t engineered for far distances, running, emergency use, etc.
@@coyriley6256 a well fed soldier is a well prepped warrior. The military don't feed people different kinds of food just cos its for comfort. They want you to have a full balanced diet to perform at a 100%.
@@coyriley6256 they do rough it. They train everyday to prepare for war. The military tries to help them relax after a gruelling exercise, u want em to eat shit?
“Boots are engineered to walk far distances” No bud, that’s what tennis shoes are for .. boots are just meant to be sturdy and protective while being suitable for any terrain
I just like how polite the recruiter was. He only checked her a couple of times. I imagine when the "colonel" left the office the ripping began for real.
Some are scammers and shysters and others may have deep psychological issues. It's best not to be confrontational as you never know. The person might get violent at their delusions being questioned. I think he did the right thing.
Im not worried about some crazy person. A o6 can end your career. And they expect a great lvl of respect. He wasnt being polite to be polite. If it were an e2 he would have a very different attitude
I’m confident someone out there could effectively fake it, you would have to do a lot of research and being from a military family would probably help.
I can tell you why and it is because nobody wants to be the asshole calling out a wounded vet. A lot of these people think the more metal you wear the more legit you look. I was never in the military myself so I wouldn't know a fake veteran if I saw one but then again I also wouldn't give them anything either. Being a fake veteran pulls at people's heartstrings and everyone feels guilty if they don't do something for them. Fortunately I am not one of those people. There hasn't been a draft since Vietnam so if you are a veteran is because you wanted to be one that is your problem not mine.
The NCO is taking her apart in an artful and respectful way. He could have opened up on her (Obvious Stole Valor) but toyed with her before mercifully telling her to get lost nicely.
Steel Castle many years ago, I was an Army Recruiter. People like this lady always felt the need to come into the office. My buddy was similar to the man recording this video. Let’s just say that I still get a good laugh after all of these years thinking about the characters that stopped by lol.
That's Colonel Crackhead. One of the best Colonels in military history. She was actually the Colonel who trained Rambo and they re-write her into a male character.
Colonel Sanders needs a ride to KFC. I agree, I noticed most of these videos are of mentally challenged folks. Its sad they gotta resort to this type of crap. Same also goes for real vets with PTSD, going undiagnosed due to the poor mental health funding acrosss the board. People need to take this shit serious especially with all the wackos running around that get a hold of weapons
The bdus have a class bonus. It brings her from civilian to 0-6. You have to be careful though. Anyone with an intelligence of 4 or higher will give those bdus -6 handicap.
$10000-$11000 per MONTH as an 0-6 and doesn’t have any money 🤪😂. Should have had her sign on the enlistment papers and told her it was loan paper. Then go pick up the money at MEPS😆
I think this recruiter is a class act. A lot of times people overreact and get aggressive. This guy recorded it but acted incredibly respectful despite the obvious stolen valor. He deserves a commendation.
