I do notice that floor models can be a little shinier than newly opened bags. My favorite luxury retail stores at the mall usually doesn't stock more than 1 of the bag at a time so I often end up buying floor models because I prefer to buy the bag at the store itself instead of getting sent a bag I might not be happy with. In May 2023, I looked at a Tory Burch bag that was cute but was really stiff because it was brand new. But I don't like stiff bags. I ended up buying the exact same bag in September 2023 because it's been in the store for months and it became softer from all the customers touching it. I liked that it was softer and just have to get over the fact that other people have handled it. But I get why majority of customers shouldn't settle for floor model bags if they're paying for really expensive bags like Dior. It is disappointing that she received a bag that wasn't even packaged like a new bag.
