@thager2010 its in 3/4 time (polyrhythm). if you listen, you can hear that the bass notes of the piano are the 3 and the treble notes are the 4

At the risk of sounding like I work for NPR: If you like Jian's work, you might like NPR's "All Songs Considered" podcast. It's really the best new music program out there without all the pretense.

stronger percussion is what made Boxer an awesome album. Without any driving percussion, SSfDL is just meandering quiet indie weirdness.

@wildmikeman I love the national, but this is a pretty brutal live performance. No less that 5 elements were botched beginning to end. Also, the host, Jian Gomeshi, a total douche, likes to make 25 minute, fellatio style intro's. There's a lot of reasons to not like this video.
