Wow, that's insane! I've seen some of those "bargain Cubbys" on Ebay before which was kind of alarming to me but I never inspected the seller and just laughed it off since I already have Cubby in my collection and was originally looking for a "Samtpfötchen" (?) (I don't know how the cat is called in the UK and overseas) from 2005/2006. However, it seems like these fake bears are even sold on Amazon. Some of the reviewers on Amazon com claimed they havn't received the Cubby from the pictures and got a much smaller and cheaply made knockoff that plays Baby shark instead. How bad! :o

My cubby didn’t come with instructions but have read cubby can copy you is that true? Maybe the real cubby can sing baby shark too?
