Pawn shops are getting burned by fake jewelry all up and down the east coast of the US. They only find out when the gold goes to the smelter. Who knows, the pawn shop could sell it right back out to customers
I don't feel bad for the guy who bought ten for 1g each... He was trying take advantage of a guy. Seriously if ur buying do ur own checks a shop can sell fake as well

That’s just one test, you should run more then one to be safe, some metals they use to fake them won’t be magnetic either but the weight or thickness will be off, good to use a scale as well
