Yes you can use card as for cash take 50/50 lira/sterling as most prefer sterling... they get a better exchange rate and most restaurants will give you lira for it

Walk to the mosque at the corner of the marina, you will see the mosque in front and the blue bodrum sign to the left walk beyond the mosque and there is a square, walk across to the other side to the right is where it begins
