update video, last part, does it sounds good? if not IM gonna shoot it while playing at max volume. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wIIniUVA1aM.html
Stop crying that it sucks when it's only $20. You get the quality you pay for. I personally don't want to have a $100 bluetooth speaker at work just to see it get stolen. I think its perfect for the price
@@officialhyperman Yes, the world is full of illegal clones... once again... You can't expect the parts of an expensive product if you're only paying $20. There's a point where the brain has to kick in and think, hmmm.. the battery, the speakers, etc... how much would it cost to make one of these? Obviously, if you want quality, you have to pay for it. If you want bass, don't expect it from a $20 knock off. Bass needs size and depth. You won't get that from radio speakers. There are many different types of speakers, with different frequencies... do some research. When I bought mine, I knew $20 vs $100+, then it was obviously a knock off. If something is too good to be true, it usually is.
My friend had a speaker exactly like the one your dimonstrating, we played music up loud & the passive radiators barely moved. My opinion with the speaker you have, is take that white plastic part that holds the passive radiators off & just have the passive radiators tightly sealed & put the orange side once on in its place. Well sorted though bro ☺
I have the same speaker it's fake aswell . Suddenly the buttons stopped working the only thing that I can turn it on is by charging it and it turns on automatically. I am wondering to ask you how to make the buttons work again ?
My fake Charge 2+ has a bigger magnet than the original, but they cant move enough so i nearly broke them, im going to use the speakers to make a pair of headphones and imma use the amp for a home made bluetooth speaker that sounds like a charge 3 or even an Xtreme
Thats some project you got planned, Good luck. I rem having a real JBL XTREME, great speaker, too much bass, LOL. To date my favorite is the AIWA EXOS-9, biggest and best priced all around. Check some of the vids of that on my channel.
hybrid32494 sounds good, by the way, I sadly made a few huge mistakes: 530 watts killed my amp and it wasn't sealed well, so I took it apart 2 days ago, it did sound good when it worked and thanks for commenting I appreciate it!
The reason why their isn't too much bass is because the speaker drivers are cheap and weak try to replace the speaker with more decent because the speaker drivers dont move too much because they move stiff, hope this helps :)
You are definitely correct, the drivers suck. But replacing those is more work and cost than the speaker is worth. I am currently trying to seal the speaker as best I can, to try to increase some bass without any serious speaker mods. thanks!!!
you can try to seal it with hot glue or silicone, watch my other videos on this speaker, idid that. Although it will improve the bass depth a bit, not much, still wont be like a real JBL speaker should sound.
did u try the - and bluetooth button its a trick and you also press the + and bluetooth hold both down at the same time till it turns off and then you hold the - and bluetooth button at the same time till both of the lights icon comes on
hey buddy! Let me give you an update on this. I've made some follow-up vids and the silicone sealing did help a little, but don't waste your time with these knock off speakers, get a genuine JBL and you will be happy. I eventually shot this speaker while playing at full throttle with an air rifle, and yes there is a video of it here!
Interesting video. My fake doesn't even charge (3+), or at least goes off after 10 min. I wander what they have put into it, I think I will take it apart as well.
hybrid32494 it well might be only just an AAA recharge battery in it. It works with charger plugged in, though I bought it (cheap) because the battery life. Probably a proper battery cost more than the price I paid for it. It was a lesson, so not buy from unchecked source.
Poorly tuned passive radiators and lack of dsp it seems. Bass tapers off from about 80hz i'd say. Not that far off the original but doesn't have as emphasized bass as the original.
you gotta insert a thin screwdriver where the grill joins with the speaker body. MIne was partially glued in, keep in mind that removing the grill will damage the speaker overall. IT will be crooked after and probably not fit well.
That will be my next step, will do a full video on that. I doubt it will help honestly b/c the main speaker itself has many small holes which also need to be sealed. Plus the actual rubber bass radiator material just isn't flexible enough to move much, when compared to a real JBL speaker. thanks!!!
good idea, Ill be sure to do a second part to this video with some of the ideas here. Well see it it works, I believe it won't really do much because the actually material for the bass radiators is not flexible enough itself. They simple won't move more I think.
I think these are the reasons theres is low bass 1.the end of the speaker there's barely space 2. The speaker could also be not a woofer 3. Most of all it's because it's not jbl
We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning ru-vid.comUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
hey buddy!!, YES, finally someone pointed out the damn cool RC cars I have. THANK YOU! I just got an HPI dash from ebay, gonna be a fun project to work on the worst HPI ever sold. hhahaah.
Planning on the second part now, got a few methods from some suggestions in the comments here. We'll see if any of the really work at all. Thanks for watching!!!
I bought one when I went to a Chinese supermarket lol brought it home n it sounded like trash💀💀so I took it apart planning to use the amp in a diy project
There’s a metal plate behind the jbl sticker I have a fake jbl speaker it’s a mini boom box from wish it had 1 speaker unglued and rattling around inside the enclosure the bass radiators are the same except my bass radiators are glued in with hot snot and have no jbl logos don’t worry I got my money back after telling wish support what the seller was up to
Rabu 14 November 2018 Saya ketipu....beli merek jbl persis sama yg di video ini..harga mahal tapi palsu.... Hasil suara yg di keluarin Audio nya gk bagus. Alias berisik..dan bassnya pun gk ada...seperti radio tempo dulu....
@@hybrid32494 you said you're going to examine why the base sucks so much.... Well hmmm ,the reason it sucks is because it's not a real JBL... so you're showing the name JBL yet it's not a JBL so it's very misleading mr. Wizard
@@hybrid32494 it sounds really niice a bit better than original flip4 basses are also really nice i have vid i can send you smh if you want And btw sorry for late response :/
Serial Killer creative idea bro! Unfortunately in a more current video i fully destroyed this speaker. It pissed me off so much that i shot it with a high power bb/pellet rifle whie playing at full volume, it still turns on!!! Lol
That piece of shit After 3 months the flip will not turn on unless you plug in the charger cord I am done with JBL It’s garbage I bought some garbage to throw away
you are looking for a fake replica one? in that case you should check for very low priced ones on eBay and various Chinese good websites like gearbest.com. Generally the packaging will be different from the real model, Ive got a video here on how to tell the difference.
