I think it looks cool and upgrading may make this speaker a lot better. As a first step I would suggest sealing all the holes that make the air escape. Especially the one where the battery indicator is supposed to be. You could also buy an actual battery indicator und put it there
I had a speaker that was obviously a knock off brand of a JBL charge I believe. The passive radiators barely moved, and it sounded about as good as you would expect. I never took it apart though. I did end up selling it on marketplace for twice what I paid for it though. It also didn’t seem very well sealed because when I pushed on one of the passive radiators, the others didn’t bulge out very much at all
I was going to resell it but I will feel guilty selling something this bad, so just going to experiment on it with a new amplifier and speaker drivers.
@@TaylorSoloaiJR I kind of felt guilty too, but I made it known that it was not a JBL. I set the price at $40 expecting to be talked down to closer to the 20 that I paid for it, but someone just offered me the full $40, and I wasn’t gonna talk him down.
I'll have to see if I can fit a 21V battery pack in the enclosure. Does that amplifier have the same performance as the original amplifier for the adobo? Or it's just okay.
