Its actually better to pay with card in Mexico since your bank will convert the pesos into the CORRECT amount of dollars. If you pay in cash the locals try to rip you off and make their pesos go a longer way. For example they will say $1=12 pesos.......when its actually 18 so u end up losing money paying in cash 🤦‍♀️
