Its basically linuses bussiness model. Reveiwers revolve around being trusted by viewers. Once a reveiwer abuses that trust, basically his reputation is ruined and his channel would go down, resulting in less sponsors. Thats why even when linus gets sponsored, he cant completely bend over to sponsors.

That's not true. LTT is such a HUGE influence in the tech market. They're realistic, and all companies know what they get into when they send something to Linus. He's as big a deal as he is because he's fully truthful and doesn't pull punches. He won't hesitate to say a product is bad, and equally won't hesitate to say a product is absolutely awesome

It sounds pretty close, I would go more with feel. Coolermaster did much better job with MasterKeys Lite where they went with MX Brown emulation. I went with that as my spare, I don't particulary like MX Blues (I have HyperX keyboard with them but I use it very lightly), I am Romer-G and MX Browns fan, so this was much closer to home for me.

Gotta be honest. I use coolermaster, (their tesseract case is amazing. Like wtf I legit thought it may be a scam but nope my hard drive is louder than the fans) And when I saw this on their page I was pretty sceptical. This is a company that gas 30 dollar membrane keyboards with nothing special to their 180 dollar titanium keyboard series with cherry-mx magnetic wrist-rest rgb animated backlighting which can be edited with LUA script, macro keys and much more.

got a km780 for about 60 or 65 on sale because i wanted the media buttons and after cutting/sanding the little plastic wings on the side it's a really nice kb, legit MX blues too. it also taught me exactly how big is too big for a keyboard so that's nice lol.

@Fiton yes thats different instead of the rubber dome making up the sensing mechanism, the rubber dome only acts as a sort of barrier and provides no function to the k68. f you removed the rubber dome, the switch still works. That isn't an exception because the switches, the part that tells the keyboard you've pressed something, is not the rubber dome. Its the reds

I think this set might not be a great deal, but I am in love with my CM Devastator 3 bundle. For the price it is a great quality membrane keyboard that rivals every cherry switch (but red) for me in terms of feel. Totally recommend if you don't want to spend a ton of money on a keyboard and mouse

I have one of these "memchanicals" from a few years ago and decided to use it for a new workstation setup. I might get a real mechanical...while it does OK in gaming because the hand position isn't changing a lot, my typing accuracy is very low, much lower than a normal membrane, because it just lacks clarity in the response. But I also like having the feeling of weight, I've been using laptop keys for a while.

Why even do this when there are very low cost (like under $30.00) REAL mechanical keyboards out there, some with very good switches like Outemu....it's simply a waste of time doing it at all. Cooler Master is simply using their name to sell crap, and that cheapens the companies reputation instead of making it stronger......

Michael Livote Yeah, I bought a Velocifire TKL wireless mechanical keyboard for $40. It's barebones, but it gets the job done and doesn't feel bad or fake while using it. Honestly, for the $100 or more you'd pay for a top-of-the-line keyboard, you'd only *really* get some macro keys, possibly dedicated media keys instead of Fn ones, and backlit RGB. Oh, and the "genuine" Cherry MX, which isn't 3x better than the Outemu switches anyway.

So, I am glad you brought in an expert, and someone who is very discerning when it comes to keyboards. I see these all the time for pretty cheap -- but what you're comparing them to are keyboards that are much more expensive. What is the bang for the buck? Would a 'regular' user who just is sick of the mushy membrane keyboard be happy with their purchase?

Aye I remember when I went to be EBgames which is like the Australian game stop type thing and I bought a devistator II keyboard and mouse set because I thought it was an actual mechanical keyboard (I was like 10) and it was literally like pressing a kitchen sponge.

Hi, I'm new to mechanical keyboard. I'm a programmer and after doing fair research I came to know that cherry mx blue are popular in the market for typists. After seeing various videos on the internet comparing kailh and cherry switches I found kailh to be a better alternative. Since I'm mostly a typist and will be using the switches for programming, which kailh switch do you recommend for me that's closer to the equivalent to the cherry mx blue ?

For the price of this you can just get a cheap mechanical keyboard. I know people are obsessed with Corsair and Cherry switches and for some reason shy away from cheaper offerings them because they have "Cherry MX clone switches", but really people who shill Cherry and ignore or put down offerings from Gateron and new stuff from Kailh and Outemu are kidding themselves and are in denial that their beloved expensive Cherry switches are now comparatively just overpriced and in many cases not as good versions of things offered by other companies.

Cherry was never as big as Alps back then and was inferior to other older switches in key feel, the problem with older and better switches is the manufacturing price and reliability. Nowadays I still don't think Cherry is the best but it sure has become a standard for reliability

Not to mention Cherry lived off by supplying government with keyboards since the beginning of the rubberdome era because they only use cherry kbs in Germany while alot of others died off

noneedinname 1. If you know what you are buying and do your research, reliability is not a problem. 2. I don't know where you get your information, but I personally bought a Motospeed CK104 from China for 35$. Yes, you read well. 35$. Outemou blue switches and for the last 1.5 year it has been astonishing. So are the reviews in this keyboard. There are countless keyboards with Outemou switches even on Amazon, so, no, you actually don't have to build it yourself. 3. As for the switches themselves, Outemou and Kali are ultra-reliable. I haven't read a single review about a keyboard with defective switches.

For me most important feature of an mechanical keyboard is not needing to press keys all the way down to register a key press. Unfortunately they didn't answer this in the video, but this keyboard is basically combining noisiness of an mechanical with key feel of membrane which are for me their worst features

Seon-Ho You can also get an Anne Pro. Pretty high tier keyboard IMO, and excellently priced especially for the features it packs. $60 for Gateron Blues, full individual RGB, USB or wireless operation (Battery only lasts about two hours with lights on, significantly longer without), and software to control mentioned LEDs as well as change the layout or set macros. 60% form factor, but that's not a massive issue, as virtually all functions can still be used if you hold a modifier key. Build is pretty solid too.

I have a KB-9910 and I love it. It's solid and the wire comes loose now and then but I can't stand not using it. I have big hands and the keys are the right size, the right spacing and everything. Most keyboards I am always hitting the wrong keys.
