At first, they all looked legit except for #3, the reason for it was because the cartwheel luster on it was too crisp if that makes sense. But after you turned it, the label on #1 and #3 looked fake, and the fact that #3 was CC kinda suspect because they’re usually faked more often
If I can't run the code, I won't spend money to buy the coin. period. I understand what your saying, but I won't send money to anyone if i can't verify the coin first.
Thank you SD bullion I can't believe that I'm the winner I really needed this for me and my family and I'm going to put it all the good use once again thank you so much SD bullion!!!!! For everyone thinking that this was a scam, or just a ploy to get people to check ✔ out their channel 🤔 let me tell you it's completely real and I'll be posting pictures and videos showing everyone how real it was. After everything is all said and done I'm going to collect around $20,000.00 in cold Hard Cash 💸 I'm going to put half in my checking account and the other $10,000.00 I'm going to put into pure GOLD coins or bars i can't decide what exactly I'm going to do.
I came to check out how you found out the coin was fake from your other video where you broke the seal and drilled it. Thanks for providing the link. Subscriptions kinda work out to help not miss a video. 😊👍🏽
1 and 3? I answered before he said anything but I guessed on the color of the coins not the PCGS! I was going to erase it and only guess 4 but then he said what was fake
Pirate stacker made a video 2days ago about fakes and yes if u search on pcgs website and If the last numbers dont come out it then there fake.. yes I totally agree with silver seeker about fakes and slabs alot of fakes out there glad I watched this video and learned about numismatics..
i don't buy slabs cause of the those who would fake them. raw coins are cheaper and easier to test. sad the collectors have test everything these days.
#1 appeared to have fake wear to me. #3 looked too shiny to me, as if it was new or in very good condition, and I figured no one would pay alot of money for a graded coin without due diligence.
Well I would say #2 off the bat because the PCGS label does not match the others (QRCode?) My second guess would be #4 because of the hologram being the same size at my first guess, and the shield being a slightly different color yellow (compared to #1 and #3; the ones I think are real) The two I think are fake also have ® after PCGS instead of ™ That is just a guess from the labels (from a graphic designers perspective). EDIT: Whelp, I was on the right tract; I just didn't know what a real PCGS Slab looked like. The QR Code is what threw me off, as I immediately thought that one was fake, so I started to compare against it.
Completely random guess. Coin 4 I really couldn’t see. And was the most obvious choice, therefore making it a non-choice. So it was either 1 and 2, 1 and 3 or 2 and 3. So I choose the only every other one available to me.
#1 & #3 based on the way the labels look. Edit: yes, the edges you caught. I could see the label didn’t go under the plastic. Like it’s a sticker after the fact. That’s what prompted me at the beginning to say 1 & 3.
You Buy Multi Million US Dollars Coin in a Plastic but you can not Crack it because they will NEVER PAY YOU BACK ! So the Coin is so suspicious If this is a Coin are genuine or Fake ? What will you Do ?
#1 and #3 but I have no idea. Edit: I WAS RIGHT. I didn't even look at the slap I looked at the coin and thought the morgan was too white and shiny and the other one looked really dark and questionable idk. Shows I don't know anything to look for lol thats why I buy bullion and it its silver or gold, I am good!
I wonder if we could trade the monster box for something else of equal or slightly lower value??.. because personally I'm not out for profits all the silver n gold ect I got is protection against this insane inflation bs and a bad economy and to be passed down like most of it has been. And I honestly am a silver n gold bar guy personally... so 500 silver eagles = 500 oz of triple 9 fine silva lol.. so wonder if let's say I got lucky as hell n won that monster box.. if I could trade it in for 500 oz of 10oz silver bars?? Or 5 100oz bars or a a few gold 1oz bars ect ya know??.. I got a ton of silver eagles already their nice n all but silver bars can do pyramids 😆
For those who demand to see the cert #, I ask this--I personally sent a slew of 2018 silver reverse proof set coins in to NGC and then sold many of them on eBay. Many were identical high grades sold on one listing. What are you suggesting I should have done instead?
I'd be willing to bet everything i have that the fake ones are the fake (not real at all) and the 2 real ones 💯 are completely real. I'm just saying and that's my humble opinion 😌 🤷 💯 👌 🙂
Took a gold ring into a jeweler to have it appraised and was looking at some PCGS coins he had for sale while I waited. One looked off to me and I called it to his attention. I was right, it was fake and the only way to tell was the location and rotation of the bust. Code came back to an Identical coin, but the pictures didn't match. PS; I picked the fakes in less 15 seconds, #3 in 2, the wing elbows were a dead giveaway.
Another thing I learned was that the 1881 cc would not have the word MORGAN since it was the only silver dollar at the time… the only morgans with that word would be the 1921’s because there were other silver dollars being the peace dollar in that year. Also a pcgs should be on the lower right corner on a real one. thanks for this info… Its so helpful to collectors!… to counterfeit is death.
I suspect strongly 3rd because it shines so strong and first just doesn’t look real at all. Did turn out to be correct but it was just a wild guess and I could’ve went either way.
Got it right. Doesn't make me feel good, since I have a gold bar and a coin I think might be fake. Bar was bought at a local coin shop, the coin at SGB (large CDN online dealer). Hope to have them checked out at some point, no one around here as the tools to properly check it.
15 seconds into the video without seeing anything else up close about the slabs or coins, it looks like 1 and 3 are fake since they don't have the PCGS mark in the lower right corner of the slab. We'll see if that's the case.
looking at the holders only 2 of them are embossed with pcgs in the bottom corner. although I thought pcgs did a gold shield with gold coins. I'm going to go with the Stone MT and the CC are fakes
I don't like the look of #1 and #3. The stickers don't fit in their slot in the slab well. They also lack detailing of the pcgs logo and gold shield as part of the plastic slab mold, despite the fact that they have the shield label on the back sticker.
Im guessing its the first one from the left and the 3rd one from the left. Because they dont have the pcgs embossed logo into the holder. and i don’t collect coins at all I know nothing about coins but I know what a real graded holder looks like plus the color is off
Such a sad shame that people go the distance to rip people off! If they took that negative energy to do something positive, maybe they would succeed. They damn sure got close to getting away with the scam, really sad that someone paid for the lesson tho.
No I always wondered how the RFID worked on those slabs. Good to know that you can use an app to verify maybe it's time for me to go through my collection of Morgan's.
