Thanks for the video. Great to see the movement details. I do own real Rolex Submariner & older Explorer. I've been waiting for a Daytona or GMT-II for the last 3 years with no luck. My option is to pay twice the listed prices on after market stores, which is totally crazy. I personally know 3 people who are in the same boat as I am. As fakes are becoming so much closer to the new ones, AR and Noob factories are coming out with better versions of fakes. Some with genuine swiss movement that has been serviced!! I think for someone like me, paying $700-$1000 for an excellent copy of Daytona or GMT-II might be well worth it for few years. It costs me $900 + shipping to service my genuine Rolex watches... So why not enjoy fake watch that 99.99% can not tell it's fake without very high magnification devices. I'm getting sick and tired of Rolex, intentionally or not, shorting supply which creates huge profits for Rolex AR and insiders.
"intentionally or not"! I worked for many AD's in UK, London, Bond street etc. It was always about market manipulation even 25 years ago. It’s not as though we are all on ships with no communication and need chronometer for navigation calculations. We all have smart devices that tell us the time to the atomic second! ( give or take 15 seconds :) )
@@TheDawsonhousehold It's all about the status symbol. If a 18 year old kid wearing brand new Daytona or GMT, you can assume it's fake, unless he is driving a Ferrari. Many of the meeting that I go, I would say 90% of upper management are wearing Rolex or one of the high value brands.
Shortage politic of Rolex is a shame..... fake is best solution IF Is NOT USED FOR CROOK PEOPLE..... its a crime to sell a fake at no advised person......BUT FOR PERSONAL ADVISED USE ITS’ just CHOICE OF SMART PEOPLE......
Now even steel grade is same 904l (end of awful nickeled brass case lool) ......hands /plots are in gold ...... for 5 % of price you have 95 % of genuine (99,90 % withouth open back....personnally in future i shall be happy if can have a Replicas with 99,9% of case / dial/bracelet....... even if i have a Seiko MOVEMENT INSIDE.....JUST NEED PERFECT DIAL AND CASE FOR BE HAPPY)
Rolex still thinks in the 70s when they were prestigious watches; making the customer wait is a sign of "privilege" but they have not understood that they are overwhelmed.
I have the exact same one with 3132 Asian super clone from ARF the watch finish is next to original but spend a lot already fixing the movement what can be the replacement in case I have to replace this movement with retro for movement.
The faults in manufacturing and detail finish were actually quite minor and would be easily corrected by minor adjustments in industrial processes and quite large in QC. ; ) Would people buy an AR branded Rolex "Homage" watch for $500? I think that's the point why fakes are made, mostly not to deceive an uninformed buy to purchase a fake on (almost) the price of a real one.
What happens when the clone movement makers decides to put another $100US into their movements, I think it's just a matter of time. As a Rolex owner I don't want my watch devalued but I fear it might be. Fakes and homages are getting very good.
@@Weakeyedominant I bought one recently and had it serviced from local watch maker. Runs smooth and no one can tell it's fake unless they carry 20X magnification device. It's off by 2 sec/day, better than my genuine Rolex which is 4 sec/day off. Join the form and be informed.
@@Weakeyedominant I have a noob v4 daytona with a clone 4130 and a VS black sub with a clone 3235, on last 6 months they both running +2,+3 sec daily. They r reliable as fk yo.

I have an air-king and buckle is perfect, and recently bought an OP36 in coral red, and it has a hard-push buckle to close. Bought at big and well-known grey dealer (AD, as usual, don’t have in stock). Can it be fake of the buckle?

Solid and very close to reality. Going ahead rolex is going to lose the market as these fakes are very much closer to genuine. Why pay so high price for rolex when little polish that can br done to fakes with almostsimilarperformance.
