Creating a fake steel girder, to be installed on top of a company car. Mocked up in polystyrene / styrofoam, and created in MDF, resin, and glass fiber. Airbrush artworked and installed, for Steelcraft UK Limited.

It is interesting to see that you can produce a video without any foam. The finished girder looks great, and is bound to turn some heads as it is driven around.

Great video I love watching all of your videos and projects my question is for someone just starting to play around with fiberglass how do you guys keep the fiberglass itch away when your done working ? Or so you don’t spread the stuff to your home hope that’s not to serious of a question ❤

You never really eliminate all of the itch. We use an air gun to blow ourselves down at the end of each day though. But, particularly when sanding or grinding fibreglass, you always end up with what we call "Weenies" tiny bit of fibreglass on the skin. Cold shower first is best, to help get it off, but you may still have a prickly night.
