I have been collecting Bts for a long time. Although what Angoo pointed out are some of the things to look for, it isn't the main distinguishers because there are a lot more replicas out there that are way more similar and are indistinguishable than what she showed. The first main thing that points out it is fake is if the photo is slightly "zoomed in". What I mean is that fakes, usually have a zoomed-up photo of the original. If there is no comparison that you can do (photo reference) or you really can't tell, look at the back for the sticker. A lot of good replicas have the holo sticker, she was lucky to buy one without it. The font and spacing of the company trademark are 100% different. Although it may look the same it is not. I would refer to looking at photos. That is why never purchase a premium photo without its sleeve cover. These are the main ones to look at.
Since you have been collecting for a long time, can I ask you a question? Are fake bts concert dvds a thing? I’m worried a couple I bought are fakes even though the dvd pcs that came with them are legit, as I can tell by the little stubs on the edges
i've bought my ly tear from my local online retailer. But the fact is the pc seems lighter than my other albums pc. I'm worried if it's the fake one or not but the emblem card leaded me to weverse shop. Can anyone tell me what's going on?
@@aurpitae4240 photocards are often quite different I think its really normal. you should look if the card is any different because sometimes those albums could just be old
@@aurpitae4240 it depends, is the album sealed? if it is, then you probably shouldn’t have to worry since it is directly from weverse especially since you have the qr code. however, another way to check if a photocard is real or not is by searching for a dot on the pc - the real ones aren’t cut perfectly, so the edges might still have some material left over, which is usually a small dot. i hope this makes sense!

Me too I don’t really have premium photo of bts but I usually prefer a photo books from fansite they have a lot of good quality and good condition there’s many bonus come with it like stickers, acrylic pins photocards and etc. but thankyou for the info☺️
You can also tell on the tip of the hinges/metal corners, the real one shows a bit of the white cardboard/paper unlike the fake one which has more rounder edges
And one of my life goals is to attend a BTS concert, might be hard since I am in Australia, with the pandemic situation, concerts are on hold, and when it resumes, who knows how it will look. Take care all.

fake vs real vids always make me goosebumps bcs of the details of fake are so much as real as the real one. what i can advice to those who wants to buy md is by your country group order (go) but becareful when find one as well. other way is for those who live outside korea and wv does not ship to ur country, u can find legit forwarding services to get korean address. using forwading services can be a bit pricey due to how they calculate the second payment either by volumetric weight or actual weight but at least u’ll get the authentic goods. for me as malaysian, i use zebra mailbox and sometimes buynship services. i think buyandship is available for many countries so just do some research abt it. last but not least, it’s okay to not having any of bts’s merch bcs it wont make u less fan. hopefully, we will keep loving them and support their messages in music until forever 💜
the photos/color of fake products always slightly in warmer tone because of the different quality of the printing. zoomed pic can be manipulated, even dots in pc, but color doesn't lie. it's really hard to printing good color in artpaper bc of the unconsistent in different printer, different laptop/pc, for individuals.

fake ones are always more saturated, it's easy to spot if you have side by side of the fake and the real ones but it will be hard if the army only has 1 item since they wouldnt be able to compare it

I love BTS for their music, but too old to collect photographs 😆, but great to see people like yourself doing what you love. I read reviews for Weverse shop and makesme reluctant to shop there, but, and I believed they do not shipped to Australia, so have been buying physical albums from Amazon
