@@APFuglsang yeah im sure the original is more satisfying to wear ngl , actually was just about to buy an original one and not long before had a financial emergency so had to use up a bit of savings , so that really made me think “uhmm is this plastic-y watch worth it?” I wish it felt a bit more premium or durable it would have made the purchase decision much easier.

Yeah, when on a budget It can be quite hard to justify since its all plastic, especially when you can go for a Seiko 5 sport instead. Wich is a metal and an automatic.. But it is hard to beat the design of a speedmaster 😳

What's mecha quartz

The timekeeping function is run by quartz tech. Whereas the chronograph function is operated by the built-in mechanical system. Essentially, it's a hybrid movement.

Yes I'm quite sure I have the replica.. But it sure looks like the real deal......

They do look very similar, but when you hold them and look closely you will notice a difference :-)

@@TB-vb3ov it was a page that they made pretty much look like the real deal. And for 200 USD, quite a scam. It does not exist anymore

The light grey is fake, for future reference you can tell by the chronographs (the small little clocks in the dial) the top two should work and they should be resting on 12. Compared to the other which are resting on different numbers. Also on the original the area surrounding those chronographs looks clearly sunken but on the replica its not (altho its trying to fake the effect).

It’s plastic (very cheap and not worth retail) and currently very popular (scalpers have inflated prices on the internet), so there is a market for them. I actually bought one for $25 out of sheer curiosity. I might wear it camping or hiking, just a fun watch I can destroy.

Wherever there is a market for it, and often you wasnt able to go to the store and get the real deal because of High demands, i see why some might go online and order a knockoff

Its hard to tell if it is or isnt without havent a real next to it, but i Can tell that the bands are pretty lose when you set the time compared to the real one, the strap and bezel gives it away too, the text are pretty fade aswell like the “printer” didnt have enough ind when applied

Noone ever answers on these videos where they got the fake for 25eur. On ebay you can easily get fakes advertised as real deal for 150 - 200. But where do you buy for 25???

That would be a replica of a real speedmaster, this the MoonSwatch mission to moon here is a knockoff of a Bioceramic watch, so have to be plastic, since the original is.. Well plastic. :)
